An Osprey lands at a favourite perch in the Japanese Garden along the shore of Okanagan Lake, Penticton, BC. There were a lot of Koi in the pond. When I asked a local, who came to feed the fish, how many the osprey captured, he replied, "His fare share."

Am 14.09.2019 war der T2 der Museumseisenbahn Minden im Rahmen einer Fotofahrt auf dem Netz der Mindener Kreisbahnen unterwegs. Beim Überqueren des Bahnübergangs am Haltepunkt Specken kam es zu einem Treffen zwischen einem John Deere Traktor, dem Triebwagen von der Dessauer Wagonfabrik und einem Volvo PKW.
On 14.09.2019 the T2 of the Minden Museum Railway was on its way on the network of the Mindener Kreisbahnen as part of a photo trip. While crossing the level crossing at the stop Specken, a meeting took place between a John Deere tractor, the railcar from the Dessauer Wagonfabrik and a Volvo car.
Westbound CPKC train 301 passes the station in the tourist town of Banff, Alberta in Banff National Park with a rare gray Kansas City Southern de Mexico GE leader. Since the 2023 merger of Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern into CPKC, Kansas City Southern power, previously rarely seen in this part of the world, is now a very common sight, with most trains having at least one of their engines on it. This train, with 2 on the front, 1 in the middle, and one on the rear, was entirely KCS powered.

It's a frosty Friday here in rural Ontario. Right now as I type it's 2C or 36F for my friends here on the F scale (even though we are metric I prefer F). The frost reminds me of tiny little shards of glass.
Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro lens on a Canon DSLR. The lens no longer autofocuses so it's manual focus, hand held f7.1 ISO 160.
