Focusing on the artist’s groundbreaking work at the intersection of Art and Science, the exhibition reveals Lalvani’s unique sculptural creations and the original artistic processes derived directly from his quest inspired by Nature’s designs, its generative principles and formal codes. PhD, sculptor, architect, morphologist, visual mathematician, inventor and Pratt Institute professor, Lalvani identifies the principles underlying natural and manmade forms, creating sculpture to reflect how material shapes form and space in a fundamental way. Sculptures from two of the artist's seminal series -Algorhythms and Xurf - are on display. Curated by core.curation, powered by core -formula.

linuxluver: The LG Optimus 3D can automatically covert 2D images into 3D images for viewing on its glasses-free 3D display. Very useful for subject matter of this sort, if one its into it. :-)
Used magic shutter to leave exposure open. Captured a lot of moving lights. Then added #3d to it.

alteregoz: @drzuum 3d glasses this one tell me what u think
drzuum: Will check when I'm at home again. Have u tried Slow Shutter? Its the best app EVER. I imagine this is quite the same.
drzuum: So I just saw this one in 3d now only. Freak out? If you used an open shutter how did the depth of field work so well. The sharpness in the background and the cloud of lighting is quite exxtreme. Truly have to see this with the stereocopic glasses to enjoy fully. Seriously peoples get with the glasses. I hope this 2point5d doesnt die out before it begins... Awesome.
alteregoz: I'm just using perspective tricks to achieve depth. Started with a flat magic shutter image. Added blur to top and bottom. Added 3d filter from photo studio fx o ly in the middle. Ran it thru squareready to add the black bars right and left.
alteregoz: @drzuum ^^^
drzuum: Hmm interesting that the blur seems to create an extra level of depth. To my prescription pad, this I will add. May the force be with you.
My mom keeps taking crazy face shots with her iPad. So I steal them and bring out her personality. Enjoy.

peachypeanuts: Lol my mum does that with her iPad too! They are so easily amused
peachypeanuts: My mum does that as well! They are very easily amused
alteregoz: I got two comments from @peachypeanuts haha
peachypeanuts: Lol just making my point heard! . Stupid phone said my comment was like a duplicate so I had to reword my comment...alas the first one had actually gone through
tynez_: Lol
This is a Christian tradition. It is a little uncommon during a wedding ceremony. Daniel washes my feet first and then I wash Daniel's feet. This is because on the last night Jesus was alive he washed his friends feet and told them they should do the same for others. This shows that their goal is to be a servant to others, not the master. (2point5d.com)
This is my friend Cici - Xiao Hui Fang. She is a Hengyangren. She taught me Chinese. She is with my friend from college, Phil. (2point5d.com)
After this we take communion. A special Christian tradition where people eat a little bread and drink a bit of wine or grape juice. They do this to remember Jesus. This is because on Jesus last night alive he ate some bread and drank some wine. He told his disciples that this bread was like his his body because he would die that night. Just like the bread brings life to them, his death was going to give them new life. Later they should do this to remember Jesus (2point5d.com)
My entry into @laudree 's #laudreemirror challenge. Red blue 3d glasses needed to fully enjoy.
