...ist dieses Storchennest nahe dem lettischen Ugale, als 2M62 0295 von AS Baltijas Ekspresis am 30.4.2013 einen Kesselzug traktioniert.
Der Tag begann wie immer sehr früh. Die Übernachtung in Kolomya ermöglichte uns ein Frühstück im Sitzen. Noch während es dämmerte, standen wir marschbereit auf der Straße.
Immerhin waren bereits drei Aufnahmen in den Kasten gekommen, bevor wir am Vormittag bei Черемхів [phonetisch=Cheremkhiv] die nächste Position bezogen, um auf einen der wenigen Personenzüge zu warten. Das Wetter hielt einige Kapriolen für uns bereit. Und siehe da, als sich M62-1457 mit ihrem 6432 (Івано-Франківськ – Коломия) näherte, waren die Beleuchtungswerte mehr als akzeptabel. Am Schluss lief 2M62-1051 mit.
Im besten Abendlicht mit einem gemischten Güterzug am Haken: die auf 3000 PS aufgerüstete 2M62UR 0112
Locomotive 2TE116UM with a northbound mixed freight train towards Tunkh station. Our summer and autumn tours spend half of the week in this place. Also, we settled 2-3 days spend near this place in the upcoming year's winter tour itinerary.

05.06.2021 | szlak Mamonovo - Braniewo | 2M62-0849 z depa Kaliningrad ze składem węgla dla firmy Bartex, powoli zbliża się do stacji Braniewo. W dalszą drogę do Chruściela skład zabierze TEM2-296, dzieląc go na dwie części.
UZ (Ukarinian Railways - Укрзалізниця) 2M62-0893 heads to Lviv (Львів) from Burshtyn (Бурштын) with an empty freight near Cherniv (Чернів) on 11.10.2019.
After 10 years stopped in the storage yard, 3 units of M62 locomotives were reborn again powered with a new diesel engine in 2021-22 👏
As well, a few more M62 and 2M62 locomotives are expected to rebirth in upcoming years 😋

On a warm winter day, "Fantomas" 2TE116 loc headed heavy weighted iron-ore train towards Salkhit station. Our autumn and winter tours spend several days of railfanning around Salkhit and Darkhan city. North part of the Trans-Mongolian railway.
