Arriving back at RAF Mildenhall following another day trip to the USS George H W Bush aircraft carrier operating off the coast of Scotland.
The Kodak No. 2A Folding Autographic Brownie, made between 1915-1926. The f stop values indicated that this is a later version - the earliest versions have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ....9.
Taking off the glass lens at the front, it's interesting to look at the mechanisms and controls available 100 years ago - including the shutter diaphragm and above that, the 10 aperture blades. It's set to f11.
In terms of exposure settings on the left, you could select 1/25 or 1/50, or T=Time or B=Bulb or Brief (see below). T is where the photographer presses the shutter button to take a photo, and then presses it again to close the shutter. B is where the shutter button must remain depressed to continue.
The bright light on the left is part of the look-down mirror/viewfinder.
2A - South Corsica
I seem to remember that on the rear plate holder there was a further indication (besides the regional code) of the island's origin. Unfortunately, after the long time I cannot remember what made me so sure.
Focus on wild Alaskan Sockeye salmon carpaccio with miso sauce.

Interesting style of Decor, Bishop's Castle, Shropshire. The spots, along with the style of the house opposite, suggests a slightly alternative philosophy of life. I love this!
Notice, however, the can of lager on the window ledge. yes, lager reaches this far into Shropshire :-(
