Ook op de zogenoemde "Stichtse lijn" kwam er recent weer even SGMm terecht. Op de zeer warme en benauwde 18 juni 2021 was het de 2951 die hier de hele dag te zien was. Nadat ik eerder al een plaatje had gemaakt van dit stel op deze lijn, werd na een eerste flinke onweersbui nog even naar Soest gereden voor een tweede poging met iets betere zonstand. Terwijl de lucht opnieuw flink begon te betrekken bleef de erg warme zon gelukkig net lang genoeg schijnen en zo zien we de 2951 onder een dreigende lucht als trein 5561 net na vertrek uit station Soest op weg naar eindpunt Baarn. Enkele minuten later gingen de hemelsluizen open.
