Im Frühjahr 2022 kam es zu vereinzelten Umleitungsaktionen auf der Strecke Lübeck - Büchen - Lüneburg. Zum Einsatz kamen dabei wie so oft bei Umleitungen über nicht elektrifizierte Strecken unsere geliebten Sechsachser aus Ukrainischer Produktion. Für viele Umleiter sind diese Loks nach wie vor ein wichtiges Standbein bei DB Cargo. Hier passiert 233 288 die Ortschaft Dalldorf südlich von Büchen mit dem für seine Verhältnisse gut ausgelasteten KT 50165 nach Ludwigshafen BASF. Grüße an das bekannte Lokpersonal:)

Neben den Zementzügen sind die alle zwei Wochen verkehrenden Gipszüge von Rottleberode die einzigen Gz Leistungen auf der Strecke Bernburg-Waldau nach Calbe (West). Ungefähr auf höhe der 233 288-0, welche ihren leeren Gipszug in Richtung Bernburg bringt, zweigte bis in die 70er Jahre ein Gleis zum ehemaligen Fliegerhorst(1931-45) und späteren Pflanzen und Saatversuchszentrum der DDR in Bernburg-Strenzfeld ab.
233 288-0 with a empty gypsum train near Bernburg-Strenzfeld, these and the daily cement trains are the only cargo jobs left of the Bernburg-Waldau to Calbe (West) line. 50 years ago another track ran from here to the old airbase of Bernburg-Strenzfeld.

Op vrijdagen rjiden voor studenten twee extra IC's van Wenen naar Lienz, die zondagmiddag weer terug rijden naar Wenen, deze treinparen worden standaard met een loc van de Reihe 1144 gereden, wat zo langzaam aan zeldzaam wordt voor IC diensten.
Op de foto staat 1144 288 met de garnituur voor IC734 klaar voor vertrek later op de dag, terwijl rechts 1144 016 met een "Radlzug" garnituur voor de dienst naar Innichen te zien is. Lienz, 19 september 2021
233 288-0 hatte mit ihrem leeren Gips vor wenigen Minuten Sandersleben passiert und erreicht nun die schon mehr als 20 Jahre nicht mehr aktive Blockstelle Wiederstedt

Kaum noch etwas erinnert an den alten Haltepunk Bernburg-Friedenshall. Als der Haltepunkt im Jahr 2020 geschlossen wurde hatte er schon lange seinen Sinn verloren. Bis in die 1960er Jahre stiegen hier hunderte Menschen pro Tag aus um zum direkt angrenzenden Kalibergwerk zu gelangen. An die einstige Wichtigkeit erinnern heute nur noch ein paar Klinkerbauten, wie dieses Wohnhaus an welchem 233 288-0 mit ihren vollen Gipzug von Rottleberode zum Zementwerk Bernburg vorbeifährt.
Not much is left of the old stopover point of Bernburg-Friedenshall, for the most time of it's existence the near Potash works who closed doors in 1969 filled it with commuting people. Now only a few nice old brick buildings standing, like the one next to 233 288-0 with her loaded gypsum train bound for the cement works of Bernburg

Eines dieser Bilder, welche an sich schon ganz ok sind...jedoch mit ein wenig mehr Glück einfach Oberhammer hätten werden können. Alles war perfekt geplant: Die Könnern Kohle mit 233 232 sollte leicht versetzt zu 233 288-0 mit dem leeren Dolni durch die Kurve Richtung Köthen B4 fahren. Dann kam alles anders, der Tf auf 233 288-0 konnte seine Erregung nicht unter Kontrolle bekommen und zog mit seinem leeren Zug viel zu schnell an das Halt zeigende Signal heran und verdeckt somit die dahinter fahrende volle Kohle. Es gab keinen zweiten Versuch und heute ist es wie man sagt nur noch Geschichte.
