Mit dem "Henkel" war die 110 262 der Bayernbahn durch das Maintal auf dem Weg nach Gunzenhausen zu sehen. Aufgenommen wurde das Foto auf der langen Geraden vor Thüngersheim.
Einen langen Kesselzug hatten die beiden von ELL angemieteten ELL 193 262 und 735 aus Österreich am Haken und konnten bei Langenisarhofen abgelichtet werden.

Die dunkelblaue 110 262 ist hier mit dem sonntags via Treuchtlingen verkehrendem Henkelzug an der Ausfahrt von Treuchtlingen auf dem Weg nach Langenfeld zu sehen.
Wenn man eine Reise in recht weit entfernte Länder macht kann man sich das Wetter nicht aussuchen. Am 29. August 2012 waren wir trotz des trüben Wetters an der Strecke von Rezekne über Zilupe nach Russland. Die Aufnahme von der RZD 2TE116 262 entstand nahe Rezekne. Aktuell werden auf der Strecke sicherlich keine internationalen Güterzüge mehr fahren.
I shot five bracketed images for this shot and chose two to work on , one for the foreground and one for the sky, as you might expect the sky was a difficult image to work on so it is quite well pushed, I have been working on this image most of the day on and off and now I reckon I cannot do any more with it so here it is .
Would love your thoughts on how I could have done this image better.
Eindelijk eens weer de camera van de 800 ISO stand af kunnen halen op deze stralende dag met af en toe een klein wolkje.
Het reed af en aan met interessante treinen vandaag, maar helaas kost het werken zoveel tijd tussendoor. Gelukkig kon deze Poznan-shuttle van LTE met de 193 262 (from C2C Carbon-dioxide-free) aan kop wel gefotografeerd worden, vol beladen met kleurrijke trailers. Hier passeert de trein net voor Deventer Colmschate in de richting van Deventer.
