Después del trigo, lógico es, va el molino en el que el cereal, tras su molienda, será harina.
Este que miramos desde bajo sus aspas, es uno de los cinco ó seis que ocupan el altozano denominado La Sierra en el término municipal de Mota del Cuervo, lugar donde llegaron a existir cerca de 23 molinos en el XIX, aprovechando la altura relativa de la población –“mota” también significa montículo- y La Sierra se sitúa a la salida hacía Valencia, subiendo un buen tirón.
En 1929 consta se hizo la última molienda industrial en este tipo de molinos en Mota, y fue obra del último superviviente denominado El Zurdo, ya que sus aspas giraban a izquierdas. ¡Si señores estos enormes gigantes, tenían nombre!

Mientras tanto las usuales composiciones de coches y potasa siguen entrando y saliendo del Port de Barcelona, dando lugar a imágenes tan pintorescas como esta.

Well, tomorrow, we'll all be counting backwards from ten when midnight and 2026 arrive in our respective time zones, with the huge fireworks of Sidney marking one of the first entrances into the New Year. Let's hope 2026 will be less of the somewhat wild ride that 2025 was.
This is another view from the inside of the Französischer Dom (French Cathedral), one of the two landmark dome towers of the historical Gendarmenmarkt building ensemble at the heart of Berlin (please see the first comment for my previous interior photo from this location).
Like its counterpart and sister building, the New Church or German Cathedral (Deutscher Dom), it's a mere tower to accompany the adjacent church buildings. On the exterior, the French cathedral stands 70 meters high, and inside, 254 steps lead to the top, which is located at 40 meters. There were still quite many steps upwards from the position where I took this photo. If you zoom in, you can see a part of the compass rose inlay on the first floor.

Zuverlässige Leistungen der Ludmillas in Nordostbayern sind die Güterzüge zwischen Nürnberg und Cheb. Der morgendliche 45360 aus Cheb wurde am 01.03.2023 von 232 254 bespannt und an einem Baum bei Ranna verewigt. Die Wagenreihung mit einem zweiachsigen Gaswagen hinter der Lok und einigen weiteren Wagen ohne Graffiti an diesem Tag auch erfreulich.
