After bringing 251 west, and tying it down at the reload in Jackman and going off duty, I went back down to grab a shot of the 7022 that was leading. A somewhat uncommon lashup of two SD70ACUs bracketing an AC44 show off the drifting encountered while heading west over the Moosehead.
I've stared at this for a long long time, definitely did not turn out as I wanted it to! Especially sad when this happens to food I make as well

One of the largest bridges in Maine, the trestle at Onawa stretches 1230', and is 130' above Ship Pond Stream below. Canadian Pacific built this bridge in 1931, replacing an earlier bridge that was slightly to the right of the current bridge, which had replaced a wooden bridge before that. CP regained this bridge when they purchased the CMQ earlier this year, and have steadily been increasing the traffic that runs over it, as seen by this 251 crossing with a long train of mixed freight and intermodal.
