Conrail 2500 & 2516 are at Rochester Jct. in Mendon, NY on February 27, 1980. The crew is putting the train back together and will head North to Rochester. The local often left cars that were not headed to Honeoye Falls or Lima at Rochester Jct. on the Southbound run and picked them up on the way back North. It was hard to even see that there were indeed some yard tracks hidden in the weeds. The crew on the Lima local was always really friendly, and offers of rides were frequent.

Uno de los que tenía pendiente era el Skyline de Benidorm y el norte de esta ciudad en dirección a Alfas del Pí es uno de los puntos en los que los rascacielos se hacen más patentes.
La mañana estaba nublada, lo que me evitaría el contraluz pero, después de un corto chaparrón, el sol salió evaporando el agua y convirtiendo el ambiente en una sauna.

EL GP35 2573 leads a pair of U25B's at Marion, Ohio backing toward train NY100 which required an engine swap placing the 2573 in the lead. This much to our dismay as we planned on the trio of U25's from the 06:00 line-up, but how could one really complain along the Erie Lackawanna - March 6, 1976.

This was/is my dad's 1989 van until we parked it here in 2005 and that's where it sat since. Can you believe it has over 2 000 000 kms (1 242 742.38 miles)!
NGC 3242, is a planetary nebula located in the constellation Hydra, around 1400 to 2500 light years away. It is also known as the Ghost of Jupiter, or Jupiter's Ghost as its apparent size is similar to the Planet Jupiter. William Herschel discovered the nebula on February 7, 1785 from the Cape of Good Hope, in South Africa.
The nebula measures around two light years long from end to end, and contains a central white dwarf with an apparent magnitude of eleven. The inner layers of the nebula were formed some 1,500 years ago.
I have been collecting data on this for a few years now, from multiple cameras, and locations. So, now it was time to put it all together. It may not look like it, but this may be one of the toughest images I have attempted to process to date. The dynamic range is incredible. The red and blue gas regions to the left of the nebula are very dim, and the nebula itself very bright. There is also a lot of very dim dust throughout the full frame I wanted to keep. It gives an uneven Smokey red brown look throughout background. Both broad-band (Lum, Red Green Blue) and narrow-band (Ha, OIII) data were used to create the image to try and highlight different areas
The planetary has what looks like waves of matter blown away. This was very strong in OIII, and not present in the Ha data. Many galaxies are spread throughout the background.

One of my favourite 1970s cars, always liked them going back to when the butcher in our village had two of them in succession in the 1970s.
Wisconsin Central SD35 2500, built as Southern 3024 in October 1965 awaits its fate with the cutter's torch at NRE in Silvis, IL.
All locomotives marked with "LEWIS" have been sold for scrap and are being cut up on site.
