Taking a break from the SRG Birthday Express, the SOO 2500 poses in perfect evening light. It was built in 1949 as an EMD demonstrator locomotive, numbered 7001. Soo Line bought 7001 and renumbered it 2500-A.
Conforme se va reduciendo el radio de actuación de estos veteranos automotores se va reduciendo también el número de puntos fotográficos a los que uno tiene acceso. Uno de los que tenía pendiente era el Skyline de Benidorm y el norte de esta ciudad en dirección a Alfas del Pí es uno de los puntos en los que los rascacielos se hacen más patentes.
La mañana estaba nublada, lo que me evitaría el contraluz pero, después de un corto chaparrón, el sol salió evaporando el agua y convirtiendo el ambiente en una sauna.
