Für das Stadtfest in Marburg und dem Lahntal-Total Wochenende wurden aus Stockheim alle drei DoSto Parks nach Marburg überführt. Während ein Park über Vilbel fuhr, gingen die anderen beiden gemeinsam über die Lahn-Kinzig-Bahn. An der Ausfahrt aus Hungen konnte ich sie fotografieren.

Vom 02. bis 11. Juni fand in Pgungstadt der erste Hessentag seit 2019 statt. Ein Teil der Gäste konnte über die Pfungstadtbahn anreisen, die normalerweise von der Vias GmbH bedient wird. An den Hessentagswochenenden hat DB Regio zur Verstärkung einen Zug mit einer 245 und drei Doppelstockwagen (mehr passen in Pfungstadt nicht an den Bahnsteig) auf die Strecke geschickt und damit für interessante Abwechslung gesorgt. Motivlich merkt man natürlich, dass die Strecke sehr kurz ist, aber immerhin führt die Strecke mitten durch eine Binnendüne. Dort konnte RB 15351 (Pfungstadt > Darmstadt Hbf), die erste Verstärkerleistung, fotografiert werden.
Die einzige Möglichkeit eine 245 auf dem Niddaer ziehend im richtigen Licht zu fotografieren bietet im Hochsommer die Fotostelle bei Nidda-Orbes. Am 19.06.2020 sollte es morgens Sonne geben und der Nebel verzog sich rechtzeitig, als um 06:03 Uhr pünktlich die 245 016 mit ihrer Leerreise nach Nidda die Ruhe störte.

The Church and its chapels (La Iglesia de San Francisco), which were considered sacred places.
Together, Church and Convent encompass three hectares including 13 cloisters (six of them major), three churches, and a large courtyard. In total, about 40,000 square meters of construction. San Francisco follows the classical typology of medieval monasteries. The main Church is the guiding axis and from there the cloister galleries extend: the refectory, the chapterhouse, and winery. These define a quadrangular courtyard, with the four respective pandas, or galleries: that of the chapter room, the refectory, the converts, and the mandatum. In addition to the basic dependencies of a convent, there were areas devoted to health care, education, crafts, a garden, and even a jail (to maintain strict discipline). The kitchen and dispensery operated in the cloister of services.

Sad part of our History.
In pre-Hispanic Quito, the current lands of the Church and Convent of San Francisco were occupied by the royal palace of the Inca Huayna Cápac, before the advance of the armies commanded by the Spaniards from the south and the impossibility of defending the city the indigenous general Rumiñahui arranged the total destruction of it. In the city fire the palace was destroyed and buried under a huge amount of rubble and garbage. One of Rumiñahui's soldiers was the great-grandfather of the indigenous Cantuña, who as an eyewitness to the events had full knowledge of what was buried in the place. The construction of the church and convent of San Francisco began around 1537, just three years after the Spanish foundation of the city, with the completion of a provisional temple that was maintained until 1550, when construction of the current building began and which was completed around 1680. Although the building was officially inaugurated in 1705.
Am Morgen des 19.09.2020 zog es mich für einen Sonderzug ins Maintal. Die frisch reaktivierte 103 245 zog den TEE 344 von Lollar nach Nürnberg. Bei Harrbach wurde der Zug von vielen anderen Fotografen und mir erwartet.

Am wurde am Bahnhof Altenburg 245 025 mit einem Leer-IC von uns aufgenommen.
Im Hintergrund sieht man noch die Formsignale mit dem der Bahnhof ausgestattet ist.
Auf eher wenige Tageskilometer kommen die Frankfurter Loks der Baureihe 245. Zu ihren wenigen Leistungen gehören Mo-Fr zwei abendliche Verstärker von Frankfurt nach Nidda über die sonst von der HLB beherrschte Horlofftalbahn. Fotogen sind die Leistungen nicht, es sei denn man steht auf Dosto-Steuerwagen, sie verkehren nämlich geschoben. Heute waren jedoch aufgrund von Bauarbeiten beide Umläufe außerplanmäßig gedreht unterwegs, also ging es spontan in die Wetterau. Hier ist der zweite Zug in Nidda neben dem alten Stellwerk Ns zu sehen, als er an den Park des ersten Zuges rangiert wurde.
Mit einem IC von Graz nach Linz war die 1144 245 hier zwischen Kremsmünster und Rohr-Bad Hall zu sehen.

Im Abendlicht konnte 245 001 auf der 329 Meter langen Achdorfer Eisenbahnbrücke, welche die Isar in Landshut quert, mit einer RB kurz vor dem Ziel abgelichtet werden.

Im Gegensatz zur restlichen Marschbahn ist der Streckenabschnitt auf dem Hindenburgdamm zwischen den Bahnhöfen Morsum auf Sylt und Klanxbüll auf dem Festland zweigleisig. 245 023 erreicht in Klanxbüll mit ihrem Syltshuttle den zweigleisigen Abschnitt. Dabei wurde sie von der Fußgängerbrücke im Bahnhof beobachtet.
Unlike the rest of the Marschbahn line, the section of track on the Hindenburgdamm between Morsum on Sylt and station on the mainland is double-track. 245 023 reached the double-track section in Klanxbüll with its Sylt Shuttle. It was photographed from the footbridge at the station.
