Codiaeum variegatum (fire croton, garden croton, or variegated croton; syn. Croton variegatum L.) is a species of plant in the genus Codiaeum, which is a member of the family Euphorbiaceae. It is native to Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, and the western Pacific Ocean islands, growing in open forests and scrub. The garden crotons should not be confused with Croton, a cosmopolitan genus also in the Euphorbiaceae, containing more than 700 species of herbs, shrubs and trees. It is a tropical, evergreen, monoecious shrub growing to 3 m tall and has large, thick, leathery, shiny evergreen leaves, alternately arranged, 5–30 cm long and 0.5–8 cm broad. The leaf blades can, for example, be ruler-lanceolate, oblong, elliptic, lanceolate, ovate inverted, ovate spatulate, or violin-shaped and coloured green, yellow, or purple in various patterns, depending on the variety. In tropical climates, crotons make attractive hedges and potted patio specimens, valued for their striking foliage. 22467

- "What Chevrolet can do, we can too," Pontiac thought, when Chevrolet released their Camaro, designed by Pontiac Motor Division General Manager John DeLorean.
- They (heavily) shared the same coach work (the F-body platform), but with detailed changes, such as grille (twin grilles of a bumper-integral design), chrome trim strips, three vertical air slots on the front edge of the rear body panels and vent windows in the front.
- Unfortunately the Camaro outsold the Firebird two to one in the beginning.
- The Camaro and the Firebird were at the forefront of America's muscle car generation.
- A Firebird was the 1967 Pace Car of the Daytona International Speedway.
- In the period that Pontiac released the Firebird, the demand for convertibles dropped, like the Mustangs and the Camaros. The average American would rather buy a draft-free coupe with air conditioning.
- This first generation Firebird Series 22400 (1967-1969), with its characteristic Coke bottle styling, was available as this 2-door Sport Coupé and as 22467 2-door Convertible (15,528 units built).
- The were assembled in Lordstown (Ohio), Norwood (Ohio: from 1969 on) and in Van Nuys (California).

Sunday June 25th, 2023, saw the start of the implementation of the Western Orbital routes under Bus Connects. Operated by Go-Ahead Ireland, the W4 connects Tallaght with Blanchardstown, while the W61 connects Maynooth when Hazelhatch & Celbridge Station, and the W62 connects Newwcastle with Tallaght. It is intended to merge the W61 and W62 into the W6 once infrastructure works take place on the bridge over the Grand Canal at Hazelhatch.
