Auch längst vorbei sind die Zeiten der Baureihe 217 rund um Mühldorf. An diesem Sommermorgen waren diese beiden 217 mit dem "Wackershuttle" zügig im Bahnhof Tüßling zu sehen.

Mit einem langen Güterzug aus Burghausen war diese 217/225 Doppeltraktion bei Kastl auf dem Weg nach Mühldorf zu sehen.
Mit einer IC Garnitur am Haken war die 1144 217 hier bei Niederaudorf im deutschen Inntal unterwegs Richtung Kufstein.

A sucker hole of sunlight greets the head end of Westbound NS 217, with a pair of BNSF SD75’s on point, as they pass the Matewan Depot Replica in Matewan, WV on the Pocahontas District.
What’s left of the ex-Santa Fe SD75’s are primarily used in local service and assigned service to the the trash trains in and out of Roosevelt, Washington, so these are very out of place.

Immer ein Foto wert ist der Magnesitzug, der Sonntags an der Passauerbahn verkehrt. Leider sind meist ELL-Loks vor dem Zug gespannt. 193 217 konnte ich mit dem EccoRail Zug nahe Einöd ablichten.
Mit dem "Buna-Wählitz-Pendel" bespannt wurde 159 217 der MEG für Personalschulungsfahrten am heutigen Sonntag eingesetzt. Entlang eines gelbblühenden Rapsfeldes ist in Kürze das Einfahrsignal vom Bahnhof Webau erreicht.
Plecháčům na osobních vlacích linek S2 a S3 v Jihomoravském kraji pomalu, ale jistě zvoní umíráček. Na samotných plechovkách je to už docela znát, drtivá většina brněnských plecháčů už má na čelech nálepky místo tabulek. Postupně začínají tyto staré soupravy nahrazovat novější vlaky Moravia. Úplné nasazení vlaků Moravia se dá nejdříve očekávat na začátku dubna. A nyní k fotce. Na fotce je zachycen plecháč 242.217 ještě s 3D tabulkou v čele dopoledního Os 4643 dne 27.10.2022. Dnes už má tento plecháč z obou stran nálepky jako většina plecháčů pod Brnem. Fotka byla pořízena v úseku Čebín - Kuřim za rozpouštějící se mlhy.

Am 19.06. hatte 217 002 des Bahntouristikexpress die Aufgabe vier belgische Loks der Baureihen 18 und 19 von Nürnberg nach Furth im Wald zu überführen. Bei den Lokomotiven handelte es sich um 1901, 1902, 1861 und 1877. Hier röhrt die 217 mit dem DbZ 95727 gerade bei Lehendorf auf der Hartmannshofer Steige bergwärts.
Sehr fotogen sind meiner Meinung nach die Stahlzüge, die zwischen Antwerpen und der Slowakei verkehren. 186 217 bespannte am 06.04. den DGS 46151 bis Passau und rollte bei Himmelstadt durch das Maintal.

TPR 217 shuffles tanks for Poist across Cold Mill Rd. 217 is a former Cambria & Indiana unit, which has seen most Sparrows Point for most of it’s life. Though much of Sparrows Point is annihilated, there is hope for a new EAF mill inside the property. Perhaps 217 will see its same purpose as it did a decade ago.
