Friday began sunny and warm, but soon changed to windy and cold. I returned to Castro to attack Twin Peaks. It's a highest point in the city and the views are worth the climbing effort. A ride to Golden Gate Park, The Haight, Japantown, another ascent of California St. to Nob Hill to find cable cars, and ending with dinner in Chinatown to call it a day. Too late to find Lombard St. It will have to wait till next trip.

Na een bezoek aan de haven werd nog even richting Kethel gereden op de vooral bewolkte 3 augustus 2021, waar bij aankomst een flink zongat was ontstaan. In een heerlijk zonnetje zien we de 2139 samen met de 2977 als trein 5155 van Den-Haag onderweg naar Dordrecht terwijl net de brug over de Poldervaart gepasseerd is.
