The staircase has a strange architecture: it is asymmetrical and shows an uncommon combination between round und square elements.

Milwaukee Road train "Southeastern"204 is rolling through Schneider, IN., with a trio of SD40-2's. The train is utilizing trackage rights over Conrail (former NYC Big Four Egyptian Line). In 1979, the Milwaukee Road abandoned their own line (The Southeastern), and started using Conrail, to get down to Terre Haute. I remember thinking how cool these two digit SD40-2's were, because they used to roam the Milwaukee Roads Pacific Extension.

In a cloud of sand and exhaust, MMID’s UBHF makes their westbound assault on Catoctin Mountain with a pair of SD40-2’s pushing on the rear, seen here splitting a set of Western Maryland block signals in Flint, MD.

Twelve years after the Delaware & Hudson inherited the Reading’s GP39-2’s, one of them is still wearing its Reading colors. It’s seen here with a D&H GP38-2 and a National Railway Leasing F45 pulling a northbound D&H manifest through the fall colors at Bainbridge, New York.

B&M GP40-2's 308 & 316 and GP-9 1736 are assigned along with four Conrail units on this loaded Bow coal train, climbing out of the Connecticut River valley. One day before the start of the Winter season an early snowfall has blanketed western Massachusetts.

In a rare move today, Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum pulled 105 hoppers out of storage from Copperhill, TN bound for scrap. TVRM operates a section of the former L&N 'Old Line' or 'Hook & Eye Line' between Etowah and Copperhill mainly running the tourist train and a very occasional storage car move. With the FURX GP38-2 in the shop for only the second or third time since showing up on the property a number of years ago, this was a good week to try to shoot an all green consist on the NHN. Unfortunately winter is here and the sand trains are short so the GP18 has been staying home. It was great to see the matched set of clean GP38-2's in good paint, hopefully in the future this will be a daily occurance. The heavy rains that brought brown season back for a few days have raised the water level pretty high at Union Meadows.

But all three of the Massachusetts Central Railroad's Geeps are in Ware, MA. Here they pose for a family photo, all wearing the Boston and Maine inspire Blue Bird Scheme. GP38-2's #1750 and #1751, and GP9 #1749.

Both 38's were built in '72 and spent time as EMD Demonstrators and on the Penn Central. The GP9 was built for in 1956 for the Chesapeake and Ohio, road number 6199.

**Prompt :**

**Mots-clés optionnels :** hyperrealistic, cinematic lighting, macro photography, shallow depth of field, dreamy bokeh, photoreal, ultra detailed, volumetric light, spring mood.

**Prompt:**

Ultra-realistic cinematic macro shot of a delicate flowering branch covered in perfectly spherical dew droplets, sparkling like crystal jewels in the warm sunrise light. Each droplet acts as a natural lens, refracting golden light and revealing intricate botanical micro-details. Warm backlighting with subtle volumetric sun rays passing through the scene, razor-sharp specular highlights on the liquid surfaces. Hyper-detailed textures, surgical focus on the main droplet, subtle chromatic aberration, high dynamic range 8K photorealistic rendering.

Professional macro photography style, 100mm macro lens, f/2.8, ISO 100, fast shutter speed. Ethereal poetic spring atmosphere, soft pink-gold-champagne color palette, delicate contrast, high-end cinematic grading, global illumination, ray tracing, natural focus stacking.

BN train #15 with a pair of standard SD40-2's---->>>BN7090 and BN8058. The BN ran SD40-2's on EVERYTHING and were the GEVO of today, with one exception, dash 2's in run 8 always sounded great. The whine always echoed off the bluffs especially in crisp and calm winter days.

We are at a location known as Egypt at the east end of CSX's former C&O Fulton Yard at Richmond. VA on March 9, 1991. This unit coal train has arrived from the west with two SD40-2's, crews have been swapped, and they are waiting for the pusher, with two more SD40-2's, to be added to the rear. Soon the show shall begin with four SD40-2's starting the 12,000 ton coal train on the .63% grade. It was a sound show for sure. Back then, I truly didn't appreciate the SD40-2's as much as I should have.
