so i've had a bazillion baby food jars in my classroom for years. people bring them to me, and i can't stand the thought of throwing them away. i've been trying to figure out how to use them forever, and tada! finally! we have jac-o-lanterns! and i accidentally mentioned to the kids that we might light them one day before we take them home and even TURN OFF THE LIGHTS! ooooooo!! ....and ever since i told them that---3 weeks ago--that's ALL they care about. "ms. d., is TODAY the day we are going to turn off the lights and light our lanterns?".....

 

so today's the day.

 

muuuahahahahhaa!!
