Yup, I am gonna have another go at a 52 weeks project. Let's start off with an intense edit of myself. I just got home today so give me some time to catch up!

just a little redhead tidbit for ya . . . .
" Only an estimated 4 percent of the population is born with red hair (only 2% in the U.S.), due to the recessive nature of the gene that produces it. That gene, the melanocortin 1 receptor or MC1R , was discovered on the 16th of the 23 human chromosome pairs in 1995 by Jonathan Rees, a professor at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland "
I actually learned about the gene only about 8 years ago - LOL
& I've been a redhead since birth -1977
Never liked being a redhead until about 10 years ago
It hasn't always been easy
believe it or not -
Really started liking my red hair when I met Chris over 6 years ago : )
..and no 2 pillars are the same.
I didn't count them, and some sources say they are impossible to count.
Jain Temple at Ranakpur.
Before we entered, we took off our shoes and made sure were were not carrying any leather. We were instructed that although photos are allowed, we were not to point the camera towards the main shrines in center of the temple.

We decided to start the year with a serious photo to prove that we can, with minimal coercing/negotiating/bribing, act like a nice young lady that my human likes to believe i can be. ;-)
This is Jasmine for those who have never met her. She is a 3 year old Curly Coated Retriever and she is full of piss and vinegar. She is probably the most challenging dog i have been around and at the same time the sweetest little girl i have ever come across. She has her CGC and she has won first place last year at a dog show. She is supposed to be our show girl, but we never had the time to do pursue it. This year, however, we are planning on breeding her and if all goes well it will be part of her journey for this year.
A little background on that, she and her sister were the last litter from her breeders champion line. Her mom has every letter you can think of behind her name including therapy and obedience titles. Jazz's sister was supposed to continue that line unfortunately last year she jumped out of breeders van and was hit head on by a car killing her almost instantly. This left the breeder without a dog to continue her breeding line ( have i said that enough times now? I don't know what else to call it, i am not very savvy on this whole breeding language thing) which is a pretty darn good one. We decided to help her out and that's where this whole breeding thing came to light. The littler will be Jasmines first and last one. We will not be keeping a puppy ( i think, who knows what will happen once i get my hands on a brand new curly baby) and the breeder will keep two pups out of the litter.
We have also found out that Jasmine has a heart murmur, which the cardiologist called an athletic heart. It doesn't affect her at all and the cardiologist doesn't think it ever will. Supposedly some dogs that are in great shape sometimes tend to have this condition. I was a vet tech and this news was just devastating to me. I keep watching her like a hawk making sure that she never shows any signs of distress and she never has. I am sure through this year we will have many action shots from her incredibly athletic abilities.
So in long/short, that's our sweet little curly and this is her journey through 2015 :-)

Okay, so, in the afternoons I work from home. (It is a glorious luxury that will expire in February.)
Every once in a while...um, alright, almost every day...my Flickr addiction takes hold and I steal away from the emails and legal pleadings to snap a shot. Or two. Or twenty. And then upload them and pour over the details of "which angle is better" or "how should I crop this one?"
Sadly, most afternoons you'll find me with two laptops abuzz with activity: one with work, the other with Flickr.

Today's Random Fact: Last night my husband and I did laundry, listened to 80s music, and spiked our homemade OJ with vodka. And I thought it was awesome!
