New Years Day

i went for two walks today. one to powell butte for a short hike. the view of Mount Hood was amazing but i forgot my memory card so there are no photos...

tonight i went downtown with a group of friends. we walked the loop from hawthorne bridge to steel bridge and came back and made hot chocolate.

i've been organizing/rearranging and cleaning my room to start the new year off and came across many chocolate bars that i had bought in madagascar...the 100% cocoa ones were perfect for the hot chocolate. i can tell there will be much more of it in the near future.

today was a great start to a new year...i'm ready for 2012.
