From my notes of June 1990, i wrote " the appearance of Pier movement in the shadows from strong sunlight.and hand rail timber warp."
Around this time i was playing with all sorts of ideas and filters....
If only i had been more detailed with my note keeping........
It was a fishing trip with my two sons, Carr Mill Dam, St Helens, they fished i played with the photo gear, they kept the fish and family shots, i kept the play time ones.

Popped into a friendly local garage when I was in the datsun the other day. They asked me if I'd like to see this recent purchase....
Apparently they ran a couple of them back in the day which they remembered fondly.
This one is completely standard and is showing just under 60k miles on the clock, surely first time around?

UN AMORE FOLLE
Nostro figlio, arrivò come un dono di Dio.
Qualcuno già mugugnava impaziente.
Qualcuno più impertinente che mai,
avanzava ipotesi di rare malattie dell'uno o dell'altra.
Perfino di entrambi.
Com'è strana certa gente.
Perché non ce lo domandate, che diamine.
La risposta sarebbe stata semplice:
"perché non è ancora arrivato il momento,
un figlio non è cosa da prendere alla leggera".
Ma ragazzi miei, il momento non arriva mai,
c'è sempre qualcosa o qualcuno che si mette di traverso.
Consiglio mio, fate figli,
troverete il modo d'andare avanti...
Costi quel che costi.
Anzi quella gioia, riempirà la casa di positività.
Oggi non farei più quell'errore, 4 anni persi.
Nato il bimbo.
Si sa, il marito è messo da parte.
A me non accadde, ero disoccupato,
Toccò a me accudire Simone per quasi un anno.
Fu un meraviglioso diversivo che mi cambiò il carattere diventando meno brontolone,
più paziente, ed ancor più concreto.
Tra Antonella e Simone, da subito, un'intesa perfetta.
Il rito del bacio l'ho fotografato più volte,
non li mettevo mai in posa, erano continue effusioni.
Direi un amore folle.
Per fortuna ho molte foto di questo periodo così felice.
Anto...ricordandosi della propria travagliata infanzia,
riversò verso il bimbo attenzioni straordinarie.
Come biasimarla.
