Mit dem EC 113 war die "ROCO" 1116 199 gestern wieder auf dem Heimweg nach Österreich. Bei Hilperting kurz vor Rosenheim erwartete ich den Zug.

Seit Fahrplanwechsel 2022/2023 wird der NJ490/40420 von Wien und Innsbruck nach Hamburg-Altona und retour wieder durch Taurus-Loks der ÖBB bespannt. Seitdem schwebte mir vor, diesen Nachtzug eines Tages morgens in Emmendorf abzulichten.
So beschloss ich vor einigen Tagen als ich gesehen habe, dass die Saison des Urlaubsexpress dieses Wochenende startet, am Sonntag den 14.05.2023 nach Emmendorf zu fahren. Der Urlaubsexpress, welcher von der 186 431 bespannt wurde, fiel leider den typisch morgendlichen Wolken zum Opfer. Wobei man dazu sagen muss, dass es aktuell auch noch unmöglich ist den UEx ohne Schatten in Emmendorf umzusetzen.
Die Wolken blieben hartnäckig und machten mir immer mehr Angst, dass der NJ nicht klappen wird. Aber ein kleiner Streifen blauer Himmel und die passend pünktliche Durchfahrt des Nightjets ermöglichten glücklicherweise ein Sonnenbild jenes. Und obendrein hing sogar die Werbelok 1116 199 "Job mit Sinn" am Zug.
Ein sehr gelungener Sonntagmorgen, mit motivlich ansprechenden Bildern durch die noch gelben Rapsfelder in Emmendorf.

For Warbonnet Wednesday, 3 nose-to-tail and nearly new Santa Fe B40-8's lead 2nd 199 into the horseshoe curve at Caliente on Tehachapi Pass on November 1, 1991. ➡️Była to ostatnia czynna lokomotywa serii ST44 z silnikiem 14D40 we flocie PKP Cargo, dokładnie do 23.12.2022 posiadała ważne świadectwo dopuszczenia do ruchu. Obecnie maszyna stoi odstawiona w Białymstoku wraz z 360, 1102, 1099, 1112 i 1113.
Am 17. Februar 2025 musste mal wieder ein "Harzkamel" eine fehlende Dampflok im Umlauf zum Brocken ersetzen. Passenderweise lag auf dem Brocken noch ordentlich Schnee und das Wetter sollte auch einigermaßen mitspielen. Also ging es zu Fuß auf den verschneiten Berg und gegen Mittag konnte 199 874 mit dem Nordhäuser Brockenzug kurz vor dem Brockenbahnhof in winterlicher Landschaft abgelichtet werden.
