As a matter of fact, I do feel like a bit of a "Maverick" when I drive my Charger.
After being out on wildfires all summer long, from the far reaches of Alberta, Canada, to the Columbia Gorge in Washington, to the Southern Coast of Oregon, from May 29th to October 23rd, this was the first chance I had to drive the Charger for over a year.
I'm heading to the car wash, and you can't tell it is beyond dusty. Didn't matter, had to take a picture. :-)
And, It was gloriously beautiful fall day. :-)
Semmering Railway, Lower Austria: Kalte-Rinne-viaduct, Pollereswand with Polleres-tunnel, the Krausel-Klause-viaduct and the small Krausel tunnel (left to right), in the background the Rax Alp. This scenery was shown on the 20-Schilling-banknote released 1968, and is therefore called 20-Schilling-view. Wikipedia also provides the following information: The Semmering railway (German: Semmeringbahn) in Austria, which starts at Gloggnitz and leads over the Semmering to Mürzzuschlag, was the first mountain railway in Europe built with a standard gauge track. It is commonly referred to as the world's first true mountain railway, given the very difficult terrain and the considerable altitude difference that was mastered during its construction.

On June 1, 1968 Richard Wallin shot this SOO job in Minneapolis with 2226-B leading 800 and what looks like a GP40. Dick only wrote Minneapolis on the slide but I think its Shoreham. Chuck Schwesinger collection.
The flash fired on this picture and overall not a great photo. Just for fun I did what I could with it. Wink's Drive In, Barberton, OH - July 9, 2005
1968 Opel calender - Park Avenue, Manhattan, New York.
I'm actually not really sure about this one. Although this photo comes from the 1968 Opel calander, and one could expect that cars shown are the ones for the '68 model year, this Kadett might be a 1967 model for the Americas. US bound Kadetts, sold by Buick, received the European Olympia front end treatment in '68. This one still has the traditional Euro Kadett front end.
