The Morris Ten-Six Sports Special came with tuned high lift cam shaft and twin SU carburettors, to raise the power from 30 to 45 bhp. The cooling system was improved and the springing was revised to add stiffness.
Most chassis were fitted with Morris' own open sports bodies costing £230 but some were sold to coach builders.
CMU 267 is one of six known survivors fitted with the lightweight aluminium paneling on ash frame. Known as the International Tourer and produced by Cunard Coachworks of Acton, North London. Costing £249-10s when new. The cars are notable for their full set of instruments, sprung Brooklands steering wheel and centrally positioned accelerator pedal and high output lighting.
The four-masted barque Herzogin Cecilie (1921 - 1936) was the flagship of Gustaf Erikson´s (Åland Islands of Finland) fleet of big square-rigged sailing ships. This picture by an unidentified photographer - here processed and colorized by me - was shot in 1935 and published by Mariehamns Bokhandel as a postcard. The original is in the Maritime Museum archive in Stockholm. The beautiful "Dutchess" was wrecked at Salcombe, South Devon, England, in 1936.
The definitive book on the Herzogin Cecilie ("Herzogin Cecilie - The Life and Times of a Four-masted Barque", Conway publishers) was written by Basil Greenhill and John Hackman. Strongly recommended for all who are interested in windjammers of the past. Basil Greenhill, whom I had the privilege to count among my friends, was one of the foremost maritime historians and the Director of The National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.

The Dictator was Studebaker's lowest-price model, followed (in ascending order) by the Studebaker Commander and Studebaker President series. There was a Chancellor in 1927, too, but that year only
In June 1929, Studebaker began offering an 8-cylinder engine for the Dictator series (221 cubic inches, 70 bhp at 3,200 rpm), designed by Barney Roos
