This is a photo of my father in 1918 when he was 19 or 20 years old. Now I was always under the impression he was never in the army, so would appreciate it if anyone could identify this uniform, with the SG on the shoulder.

The History of Barron County, Wisconsin, published in 1922, tells us that Christian Alton "was born in a log cabin" on the property he then owned. " He was reared here, attended school, and learned farming from his father."

Christian took over the family business after his father died in 1902. With his brother Paul's help, he made it a going endeaver.

"He has continued the improvements made by his father. He built over the house, and erected a new barn, 36 by 92 feet, with cement floor, and equipped with patent stanchions and other modern appliances. He carries on general farming and dairying, and is already well started on the road to success."

In 1913, two years after taking over the farm, he married Lena, a local girl. According to the History, they "have one bright boy, Walter Clifford, born July 30, 1913."

The biography does not mention "Baby Alton," who was born in 1918. The child (it's unknown if they were a boy or a girl), likely died during childbirth or shortly thereafter as they were never named.

Baby Alton was given a lovely stone, however. And though that stone has been broken several times, someone is still there piecing it together and placing flowers at their grave.

Oh my gosh! We're finally getting a Wonder Woman movie! Ahhh :D

I can't wait to see where this will take the DCEU in the future and how it will change the playing field here on out!

I for one expect DC is gonna knock it out of the park *fingers crossed*! I mean Wonder Woman and The Amazons fighting Nazis in the Trenches?! How could that be any cooler?!

Anyway, consider this a precursor to my thoughts on the film, because I'm sure I'll have plenty to say! :P

...Hopefully this can hold you off until Sunday! :)

Sepultura plena de simbologia funerària. Una dona es reclina sobre un sarcòfag, desconsolada i plena de tristesa.

I know the torso isn't very history accurate! but I'm very hyped for Battlefield One , that's also the reason why I have made this fig!

Hope ur like it!
