today was my last day of work experience and it was lovely. :) the week has been so tiring but so fascinating for so many different reasons.
today i photographed sunderland AFC training, then went to Carlisle and then back over here. THEN i decided to go out on my bike for a bit.
i've seen five rabbits, two mice, one dead bird, a pheasant, sheep, cows and many horses.
i'm sure i had some sort of idea the other day, but it's just gone now but that's okay
.
ps. i know that i've been to these fields quite a few times. but they're always so different that i just can't help myself.

A favorite from this past summer...July 19th out on highway 191 north of Interstate 10. Always a struggle in that area to find high ground with good views, so I ran up a hill to time-lapse this severe storm and just had to make do with it. The downburst of rain/hail was incredible but later I found out that I got incredibly lucky with a bolt being captured on time-lapse, as my Sony's cable release port was on the fritz, so my trigger missed everything. Also insanely happy you can see where the strike lands.
Definitely one of the cooler scenes from this summer, should be in Monsoon V which I'm working on now!

Flickr, it's been too long! I just got so busy for the past month or so that I haven't had time to post. But I have absolutely been taking pictures every day!
Some crummy news, though, my external hard drive which I had all my pictures on crashed :( So all my 365s that I neglected to post, all of my portfolio and pictures I'd been saving for my website, and pictures from my first wedding I shot were all lost :( But I'm working on trying to recover them, so until i see if that can happen or not, I'm just going to use old pictures to make up for all those 365s.
And no, that does not count as cheating.
