Just went out to make this shot when I saw the sun was shining on the foundation of a new to build glass building . . . after about four and a half months this is the result of the hard work they delivered to place the foundation of a new building . . .
A small duck that winters (among other places) along the south coast of Vancouver Island. Always fun to photograph during breeding season, they still offer photo ops in a mid-winter swim-by.
