The ultimate ID2 today is seen climbing the runner south out of Ossipee Aggregates. Veteran GP18 1801 lead GP38-2's 3823 and 3825 with 18x3 and caboose 100 carrying the marker. Today was just a Tri-City turn, and tomorrow they will pluck the empty steel from there and continue south to pick up the 8 incoming loads that DO-1 dropped in Dover tonight.

WCCH SD20 1801 runs light down the street running on Material Rd in Romeoville, IL. Just behind me, it will re-enter the property of the power plant and call it a day.
After being painted into NHN colors, GP18 #1801 made its maiden voyage with four loads for Tri City in Rochester and the business caboose to give state officials a ride north out of Somersworth. Photo taken Burleyville/East Wakefield, NH June 13, 2016

NHN 1801 with the white flags flying prepares to depart the Ossipee Aggregates Pit. the 1960 GP18 leading and a 1970's Caboose on the rear is nearly unheard of in 2020 railroading.
As we pulled into Batavia, NY for the first time, we were instantly treated to DL&W Alco RS18 shuffling cars near their roundhouse before making a run across town to service one of their many customers.
This neat little short line is only 2.5 miles long, and with over 10 customers and at full capacity on their line, the crew has their work cut out for them.

The June 4 ID2 is seen cresting the grade at Weeks crossing with the veteran GP18 down on its knees. The line levels off a bit after the crossing here then it is right back in the corner around MP 100 up to McCabe's crossing near Rte 16. Caboose 100 trails nine loads for Rochester and the MW 200.
The address on the Cinemark movie theatre in Broken Arrow, the North side movies and the decor for the theatre wall. Easy shot since the parking lot was empty, not many really care what plays right now. The price of ticket, the price of food, the plot seems to all equal to failure. Anyways this is the frame for the theme Cinema for Flickr Friday.
Caught in the open as stopped and rolled down the window, this Porcupine's instinct was to climb. But that didn't help him avoid the photo-op! I stayed in the car, and drove away after this shot to allow him to find his way down to the nearby river and safety. His quills offer some protection, but I have seen coyote scat full of quills and buffaloberries.
The campground is closed in winter months. There is a perimeter fence and Texas gate to keep the bison out. Nothing can keep the wind out...
