Ja aber die bessere Hälfte des 612 112 heißt nun einmal 612 612. Er war der erste 612 im Landesdesign BaWü.

Am Morgen des 16. Oktober 2018 verlässt 612 112 als IRE 3251 (Reutlingen Hbf - Aulendorf) den Bahnhof Mengen und passiert das Einfahrsignal.

Warum zeige ich nun dieses Bild heute?

Es Ist ein trauriger Anlaß, just dieses Fahrzeug war beim Zugunglück unweit von Riedlingen vor einer Woche als zweite Fahrzeug betroffen.

Bei diesem Unglück verlor ich einen sehr guten Freund, dem dieses Foto gewidmet sein soll!

CED 214 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cepheus. It is part of the surrounding bigger structure NGC 7822 which is not in this field of view, The brighter part of the nebula is also listed as Sh2-171. Last but not least there is an open star cluster Berkley 59 within the central part.

The image is an SHO-RGB rendition with SII showing in orange color, Ha in yellow and OIII represented by blue tones. The stars show in their real colors shot in RGB exposures.

Mommy bluebird with food for her babies. Daddy bluebird who was busy protecting and feeding the babies disapeared around 10 days ago. Mommy bluebird sure misses him! I considered not putting mealworms any longer when I noticed that the parents were finding plenty to feed the babies their own. However when daddy bluebird vanished I decided to continue putting out mealworms.
