Actually, this was how it went... As I was editing this, she climbs on my lap when she said, "Look, mommy, BROCOLLI." She was pointing at Samuel's tree icon on her red Christmas hat. Funny. We both started laughing with that thought.

No, I'm not a spokesperson for National Geographic. It so happens that I'm holding their magazine, of which we are a subscriber. I couldn't think of a better story either; except the fact that my other tattoo looks like a big eye on my arm. It was kinda staring at me while I tried to find its spot. No offense meant. It's just me, cooking some Halloween stuff in my brain for my next uploads.

Maybe I need to be a bee this Halloween to represent how I am today - BUSY. So, I guess there's gonna to be a lot of bees then. I know most of you are busy, too. Too much buzzin' around that it seems like there's not enough hours on a day. (sigh) I did quite a lot today but I still didn't feel accomplished, not to mention my homework.
How are you, guys, doing?
Now, about the picture, I took it for my Shakira in Disguise article on eXaminer. I blogged a little explanation on how I edited this on lancelonie.com and posted some outtakes, too. It took me several takes . . . and guess what? My sweet copycat was on there . . . whenever, wherever, Shakira!

La 16650 quitte la gare de St-Avold le 25/07/2007, alors qu'elle assure un TER Forbach - Metz, accompagnée d'une RIO modernisée MetroLor. A cette époque, la grande majorité des trains TER sont couverts par ce matériel sur cette ligne. Les 16500 et leurs rames inox disparaitront du paysage Lorrain en 2009.

I was reading the news this morning - just a Friday update on Haiti's recent earthquake... "At least 12 American corporations have pledged donations of $1 million or more to the Haiti relief effort," CNN World News. It is good to know that rich corporations are setting aside their economic concerns to give way to helping Haiti. According to PR Newswire, Becton, Dickinson and Company or BD, global medical technology leader, announced today that it is donating $550,000 to assist the Haitian earthquake victims...
"The key is to get the food and the water in there as quickly as possible so that people don't in their desperation turn to violence or lead to the security situation deteriorating," said U.S. Defence Secretary Robert Gates.

Late in the afternoon, on our way to Las Vegas, I got a call from this new job. It sounded so cool so I accepted the offer to start on Monday, Feb. 1st. It takes about an hour or so to get to work, which prompted me to wake up really early. I need at least two hours to get ready (lol) plus I still carpool with hubby... At night, when I get home, I'm tired and sleepy. Sadly, I couldn't bring myself to Flickr. Well, I'm adjusting. Hopefully, when I'm done with it, I'll be up and Flickring again. :)
