The Thirteen Queens Of Camelot - The Queen And The Blackbird by Daniel Arrhakis (2017)
Camelot or the real ancient name Camaaloth was the fantastic capital of Arthur's realm and a symbol of the Arthurian world.
But what the Legend does not tell you is that there were 13 queens who reigned in this Magical Kingdom of fantasy but also of darkness, after all Queen Guinevere was just one of them ...
Gwenhwyfar or Guinevere, she was wife of legendary King Arthur.
The little white-breasted blackbird used to sing to her every morning, with sounds that reminded his beloved Knight Lancelot when he sang verses of love ... after all Arthur had become so distant from her that sometimes the birds were her only company.

We had another snow shower last night, it did last for quite a while but didn't settle on the roads.

Friday 10th February 2012. Month six. Winter.
Friday , The snow returns.
I am new to photography having taken it up less than 12 months ago, but I have reached the conclusion that I am undeniably a landscape man. Without it being a conscious decision I find myself drawn to this form of photography, and landscape (and seascapes) have become my default. I love to photograph our coastline and living on a peninsular means there are plenty of locations to chose from, but New Brighton and West Kirby never fail to inspire. Today's photo was taken whilst walking the dog.
