Noch erbringen die Schweizer Lokomotiven der Reihe 420 alle Leistungen auf dem IC 4 zwischen Singen am Hohentwiel und Zürich HB, doch ab Fahrplanwechsel 2022/2023 wird sich dieses Bild ändern. Ab dann übernehmen Triebzüge des Typs "Kiss" von DB Fernverkehr auf dem gesamten Laufweg von Stuttgart bis Zürich. Nur noch wenige Züge am Tag werden im Schweizer Abschnitt mit den hübschen Loks der Reihe 420 bespannt. Am 22.10.2022 passierte Re 420 161, die letzte tannengrüne Re 4/4 || der SBB mit dem IC 185 nach Zürich HB das Zollhaus bei Rafz in der Schweiz.

Day 161/365:
I took my camera out today with just my Lensbaby Sweet 35 optic, to try to get to grips with it. It's not my favourite Lensbaby. I overlaid a blurred sea/sky image that I also made today...I used an Omni filter with that one.
Apologies for my lack of comments still. We are away from home and apart from being out and about, the internet here is very intermittent. Plus I have to use my phone as a hotspot and it uses a lot of data. I should start be more involved in few days time.

Saarrail is bedrijfsonderdeel van Saarstahl en is onder andere verantwoordelijk voor het vervoer van het vloeibaar ijzer van Völklingen naar de Dillinger Hütte en vice versa. Op deze foto beide bedrijfsnamen in een plaat.
Wat betreft de loc: de 151 161 werd in 1977 door Krupp in Essen aan de Deutsche Bundesbahn geleverd in de oceaanblauw/beige kleurstelling. Door de DB werd ze ondergebracht in het depot van Hagen-Eckesey.
Deutsch: Saarrail ist die Tochtergesellschaft von Saarstahl und unter anderem zuständig für den Transport von Flüssigeisen zwischen Völklingen und der Dillinger Hütte. Auf diesem Foto sind beide Firmennamen zu sehen.
Zur Lok: Die 151 161 wurde 1977 von Krupp in Essen in der ozeanblauen/beigen Lackierung an die Deutsche Bundesbahn ausgeliefert. Sie wurde daraufhin im Bahnbetriebswerk Hagen-Eckesey stationiert.
Die reformierte Kirche in Fex Crasta ist ein evangelisch - reformiertes Gotteshaus unter dem Denkmalschutz des Kantons Graubünden. Bekannt ist sie wegen ihres den gesamten Chor überziehenden Freskenreichtums. Wikipedia
