SNCF 15058, Mennessis (ligne St-Quentin - Tergnier), 16 Mai 2025.
La 15058 dans la livrée "En Voyage..." en tête d'un coupon de six V2N, assurant un TER St-Quentin - Paris, s'apprêtent à traverser la gare de Mennessis, à l'approche de la ville de Tergnier. A droite, la double voie non électrifiée en provenance d'Amiens, qui rejoint l'artère Maubeuge - Paris à cet endroit.

Par une belle journée d'hiver, la 15058 et sa rame de V2N sont aperçues du côté d'Ognes, sur un TER reliant St-Quentin à Paris-Nord. Ce sont alors les derniers mois pour profiter de ces composition sur cette relation, et des toutes dernières BB15000 encore en activité en France.
Beim derzeitigen Blick aus dem Fenster brauche ich etwas Sonne - also schnell der Griff ins Archiv, und wir landen im Frühjahr 1999. Am Abend des 1. April 1999 geht eine erfolgreiche Tour zu den letzten BB12000 der SNCF zu Ende. Es steht im letzten Licht noch ein Schnellzugpäckchen Strasbourg – Paris auf der Ligne 1 an. Im Tal der Mosel, westlich von Nancy, gibt es dafür nicht mehr allzu viele passende Stellen. Aber bei Liverdun werden wir dann noch fündig. Der kleine Ort liegt eingezwängt in einem Moselbogen auf der linken Flussseite, und die Strecke muss an beiden Ortsenden den Fluss auf Brücken passieren. Nachdem nur wenige Minuten zuvor bereits BB 15058 die Stelle gen Paris passiert hat, folgt kurz vor "Licht aus" noch BB 15006, ebenfalls mit einem ausgewachsenen Schnellzug und auch in der begehrten Grand-Confort-Lackierung.

I had the yellow and blue cups as well as a few of the straw magnets.
15049 stands at Paris Gare du Nord after arriving with TER48510 07:04 from Amiens, whilst 15058 stands alongside having worked TER47906 06:48 from St-Quentin
On loan to Stagecoach South West from Aberhill to cover the October/November 2019 Tarka Line blockade.

A version of this photograph was uploaded in May 2008. It was widely viewed, but wasn't a very well-processed image. I've gone back to the the initial raw file, and reworked it from scratch. It is quite different now...possibly even better. (This was when I was still trying to shoot flying birds with an inexpensive 300mm telezoom. It shows.)

Passage à Eckwersheim de la BB 15058 sur le train W 754667 Saverne - Hausbergen-Triage.
Les 4 et 5 novembre 2006, la gare de Strasbourg-Ville était fermée à la circulation du fait de la mise en service du nouveau PAI strasbourgeois. A cette occasion, les tranches Paris - Strasbourg des EC Paris - München avaient un terminus commercial à Saverne et étaient acheminées ensuite avec la loc titulaire du train jusque Hausbergen pour stationnement.

Crow Nest Junction signal box located by the Down Branch line alongside bridge 18 (Highbarn) carrying the road between Higher Barn Farm and Lower Barn Farm on the outskirts of Hindley. Wednesday 9th June 1999
Crow Nest Junction signal box was a British Railways London Midland Region type 15 design that opened on 1st October 1972 fitted with a 25 lever London Midland Region Standard frame as part of stage C of the commissioning of Warrington power signal box, replacing an 1887-built Railway Standard Company standard design signal box located in the v of the junction. The signal box, which was second hand, was scheduled to close on 25th March 2013 but the resignalling was postponed. It closed on 28th July 2013 with control passing to Crow Nest workstation located in Manchester Piccadilly signal box on 29th July 2013 although the workstation was not fully commissioned until two days later. The signal box was demolished on 8th December 2013
The signal box carries a British Rail corporate identity printed design nameplate
The signal box is built where the Fast lines ran until 21st November 1965 when they were taken out of use between Crow Nest Junction and Pendleton Broad Street signal boxes
