Khuda Karay Ke Meri Arz-e-Pak Per Utray
Wo Fasl-e-Gul Jisay Andesha-e-Zawaal Na Ho
Yahan Jo Phool Khilay, Khila Rahay Sadi'on
Yahan Khizaan Ko Guzarnay Ki Bhi Majaal Na Ho
Yahan Jo Sabza Ugay, Hamesha Sabz Rahay
Aur Aisa Sabz Ke Jis Ki Koi Misaal Na Ho
Khuda Karay Ke Na Kham Ho Sir-e-Waqar-e-Watan
Aur Is Ke Husn Ko Tashweesh-e-Mah-o-Saal Na Ho
Her Aik Fard Ho, Tahzeeb-o-Fun Ka Oaj-e-Kamaal
Koi Malool Na Ho, Koi Khasta Haal Na Ho
Khuda Karay Ke Meray Aik Bhi Hum'Watan Ke Leay
Hayaat Jurm Na Ho, Zindagi Wabaal Na Ho
Khuda Karay Ke Meri Arz-e-Pak Per Utray
Wo Fasl-e-Gul Jisay Andesha-e-Zawaal Na Ho

Cambridge City Cemetery, Newmarket Road. Detail from the grave of Choudhary Rahmat Ali, the Emmanuel College law student who invented the word "Pakistan" and launched a movement for its realization in January 28, 1933 (long before politicians like Jinnah took up the cause). Photo taken with iPhone (I continue to be impressed) on Jan 28 for his death Anniversary on Feb 3. Recommended read: KK Aziz, 1987, "Rahmat Ali: A Biography". I first came across this book in the UL (love the place). Later, I received a signed copy from KK Aziz himself when he came to live and research in Cambridge.
The old Rajah Bazaar part of Rawalpindi in Pakistan. I just loved this old part of the city and spent several days just wandering around the alleyways trying to get a feel of how things were in pre-Partition times when all the communities lived together.
...I see white and I see Pakistan :)
Happy Independence day to all fellow Pakistanis and friends on Flickr :)

92 cricket World Cup Victory =)
To my loveliest and brightest country, where I had seen high seas of happiness. Happy Independence to everyone out there.
Life looked a little more beautiful when I heard Pakistani cricket team winning a match. It was always delightful to see how Amir Sohail and Saeed Anwar opened for Pakistani Team. The Ramadan hours in my land are the most beautiful, seeing rush of people going to there respective places.
May God bless my land forever and ever.
QUETTA, PAKISTAN August 06 2016: A Pakistan Military solder alert standing in the Van during the flag rally regarding yom-e-Azadi Pakistan 14 august. Organized by Balochistan Institute of Information (BIT)
When one wishes to play the wit, he sometimes wanders a little from the truth. I have not been altogether honest in what I have told you about the lamplighters. And I realize that I run the risk of giving a false idea of our planet to those who do not know it. Men occupy a very small place upon the Earth. If the two billion inhabitants who people its surface were all to stand upright and somewhat crowded together, as they do for some big public assembly, they could easily be put into one public square twenty miles long and twenty miles wide. All humanity could be piled up on a small Pacific islet.
The grown-ups, to be sure, will not believe you when you tell them that. They imagine that they fill a great deal of space. They fancy themselves as important as the baobabs. You should advise them, then, to make their own calculations. They adore figures, and that will please them. But do not waste your time on this extra task. It is unnecessary. You have, I know, confidence in me.
The little prince
