Walking around on Easter Sunday before church. Seller food stalls were not open. After church this alley was packed !
The shot tries to get some of the atmosphere across when walking through Amsterdam in the evening around this time of year.
This is the father of those little chicks in they're nest in the following photos. He's not only a handsome devil to be sure but a very protective father and mate. He gets nearly right in my face, because he believes I'm getting to close to maintain security for his family and is letting me know I need to back off. Because he doesn't know what my intentions are?
But I am keeping a respectful distance from his brood, and am meaning no harm whatsoever. He flies by my face a couple of times to see what I'd do, and I didn't even raise my camera, because if I had, it might have accidentally hit him he was that close. He finally realizes I'm no threat and gives me the okay.

Since 2002, an auxiliary works has been located in the upper chapel of the north tower. It has 14 manual and pedel stopsand serves to project sound into the western part of the cathedral. The auxiliary works have no console, instead they are operated from the main organ. These works are arranged similarly to a main works and contain an 8' high pressure stop "Tuba episcopalis," with extensions (16' and 4').

Fue realmente polémico el hecho de que Oteiza esculpiera catorce apóstoles en lugar de doce. Según decía, lo que representó no fueron catorce apóstoles, sino catorce unos apóstoles. Es decir, pretendía recoger la idea abstracta de la apostolicidad como comunidad abierta al exterior que reclama, a su vez, la presencia de los demás de una manera solidaria.
The fact that Oteiza sculpted fourteen apostles instead of twelve was truly controversial. According to him, what he depicted were not fourteen apostles, but fourteen apostles. In other words, he intended to capture the abstract idea of apostolicity as a community open to the outside world that, in turn, demands the presence of others in solidarity.
Heute - 14.06.18, Wandertag und im Anschluss ist Putz- und Flickstunde, einige Bekleidungstücke müssen genäht werden. Auch sowas gehört dazu. Die Landschaft muss ich aber nochmals ablichten.
