The 1099.14 is on its way with a "GmP" towards Mariazell as it passes the 110 m long "Kuhgraben viaduct" at Erlaufklause.

...arbeite ich nun schon von zuhause. Ich bin sehr froh und dankbar, dass mein Arbeitgeber uns das so toll ermöglicht.
Bisher bin ich morgens und abends immer an dieser tollen Kiefer vorbei gekommen und habe mich sehr über ihren Anblick gefreut. Nachdem ich sie nun schon so lange nicht mehr besucht habe, wollte ich mal wieder nach ihr schauen. Die Nacht zuvor hatte es geregnet und in den Traktorspuren hatten sich schöne, klare Pfüzen gebildet. Ein ruhiger und angenehmer Sonnenaufgang, den ich an diesem tollen Ort ganz alleine genießen konnte.
This series of 21 window shots comes from an old paper mill where I had the opportunity to participate in photographically documenting the site. The site was home to E.B. Eddy from the end of the 19th century to late in the 20th century. It was taken over by Domtar at that time who actively operated it until 10 or 12 years ago. It has now been acquired by a developer who will tear some of the old buildings down and replace them with condos and a more people oriented modern living site. The site crosses the Ottawa River on the provincial border between Ontario and Quebec. Ottawa is on the Ontario side and Gatineau is on the Quebec side.
I took quite a few window shots because they were few and far between. Many buildings had no windows, or the windows were covered over or too dirty to see through. After spending many cold dismal winters days at the site last winter, (sometimes in very dark areas), I was overjoyed to see the spring sun shining through in some spots.
I have just spent the evening on a walk and talk event with the Deer Warden at Knole Park. The noise of the roaring of the deer was incredible and there were so many gathered at the rutting stand, but it was hard to get them to stand in the right place, looking in the right direction and roaring at the same time for my camera. So here is one of the stags in profile but not opening his mouth at that moment, you just have to imagine it.
