I know that it is impossible that everyone can like my photos and sometimes you may feel that my all pictures look the same, so boring-
The reason why I started taking photos of flowers is because they are so beautiful but they go so fast.. so I wanted to keep their lovely days with my own feeling and I never feel bored with taking pictures of them, still am enjoying the most.
I spend more than 13hours a day in my small cafe and work everything by myself (making coffee and tea, some cakes and cookies, washing, cleaning.. etc) and I even haven't had a day off for two months. Can you imagine that? heh.. I want to travel too and take pictures of other things..

So yesterday here in America was Labor Day, which in a description that is contrary to what is intended, I spent the day doing anything but work. I took the kids up to Santa Barbara at 8:30am, and the first thing I needed to do, was teach Caiden how to drive. He’s 10yo and he has to have some real-world experience behind a steering wheel in a crazy environment before he takes his test on the streets of LA in 8 or so years. So, this broke him in nice and he did well. Then took the kids to lunch, the beach, the pier and a largest outdoor playground in a 2 million mile radius. Needless to say, Dylan slept the entire way home, and if I’m not mistaken, the rest of the night. I wish I could sleep for 13hours straight.
So, no laboring. No photography (outside of snaps of the kids). Now back to real life, real issues, and real driving. This was from Sunday, where I didn’t even really labor to photograph the engagement of Christina & Mike. They are such a fun couple, and I know their wedding later this month will be just as beautiful and fun.
I hope all of you had a great extended weekend. And if you’re not in America, I don’t feel bad for you. Europe has all those goofy “bank holidays”, and the people down under only work until 4 so they can “have a go on the Q” every afternoon. So we Americans need a dedicated day of doing absolutely nothing productive for a change.
You can now follow my wedding photography on Facebook. Or not.

Think she had a good time!!

This is one of only two complete U-2 airframes on display outside the United States, the other is in Norway.
This particular U-2 holds the record for the longest flight in an early model U-2, some 13hours and 20minutes. This was on a mission from Takhli Air Base in Thailand to China’s nuclear weapon testing facility in Sinkiang province, finally landing at Charbatia Air Base in India.
The aircraft with the following serial number ’56-6693’, was the one in which Gary Powers was famously shot down over Russia, on 1st May 1960.
With an SA-2 also in its collection, the IWM has used some imagination and has chosen to recreate the aforementioned incident by positioning the missile as if about to strike the U-2!

First peice of the year. Right after landing from the plane I rushed to Mogansan rd to meet up with Barnes and Kange in order to do a peice with them before they left Shanghai. After 13hours of flight and a bunch of scraps this is what I did ... luckily I decided to rock one of Ecrase's exchange sketch that he did for me right before leaving to france. For those who don't know 2zio was my short name back in 2000 as in french the 2 is pronounced same as the DE. I used to do block letters like this for a while, when I saw the sketches he did for me I realised I just had to do a 2zio again for nostalgia's sake.
Anyways a bunch of scraps and off I went. Barnes was already painting with Ting And I just placed myself besides them. This peice is simple yet it evolved from a concept I got on the plane, the outline of the bottom half is the fill for the top, and the outline of the top half is the cloud background of the bottom half. I was going to put some black back into the foreground to close the loop but forgot ... tired and jetlagged. A coloring concept that I'll try and push a little more and with appropraite colors.

Since i've been soo busy with photography lately, i havent had the inspiration or time to make a realistic drawing ,it took me about 13 hours but worth it! :)
The outcome was great! I'm actually extremely happy with it, since i haven't drawn anything realistic for a while about 7 months.
The kid in the ref. photo is a beautiful little Australian BOY that caught my eye on a photographers flickr page. It gave me the inspiration needed to draw a realistic portrait again.
Jason Wilkes is the bassist and backing vocalist for the band Disciple.
This drawing took about 13hours to complete, and is done with 4H-8B graphite pencils. Turned out pretty nice, especially the hair and beard, as well as the shading on the face. It looks very skin-like, rather than just meeting the curves and shading of the face like in most of my pictures, you can really see the textures in this one. Very happy with this group of drawings!
Enjoy!

Back in January I was asked to travel the furthest I've ever driven in my car, which was from Midsomer Norton near Bath, all the way up to York, the other end of the country. After driving 13hours in 1 day, nearly 500miles and meeting up with pro rider Scott Higgs in between, we shot a number of images for Scootmags latest issue, Rockcity skateparks review and the contents page. Here is a compilation of the images used in the feature. Quite happy with how it turned out.
