Na het fotograferen van de European Sleeper keerde ik met Wouter nog eens terug naar Boortmeerbeek.
Via een tipgever (waarvoor dank) hadden we gehoord dat er nog een cargo onderweg was richting Leuven, namelijk een Milanoshuttle van Lineas.
Toen de overweg dan om 10:47 sloot, dachten we daar is hij en we zagen verkeerdelijk de 186 232 met een sleep GTS-containers aan als deze Milanoshuttle.
Aangezien de zonnestand toch begon te verminderen, keerden we terug naar de wagen. Gelukkig hadden we nog maar net aangezet toen de overweg reeds de volgende trein aankondige en ja hoor nu was het wel de verwachte Milanoshuttle, die we na een kleine sprint nog mooi konden meenemen ;-)

Together with my brother we went from Zemst where we had photographed the European Sleeper to Boortmeerbeek, for a freight train of two.
Bothe cargo's were running interlocking and right behind the local train of course.
The second one was this Milanoshuttle of Lineas, seen here on the sunny Wednesday the 7th of June 2023.

The SNCB/NMBS/B-Logistics Alstom HLE 13 is one of my favourite locs and this is my first photo of it. With the luck of a beginner, I was gifted with a spotless clean 1333 and from the elevated spot, I could see the red roof and white pantographs - very much like when the loc has left the factory. The freight train has been routed via the famous spot place in Hennuyeres by exception on this Saturday afternoon.
The Dash 8 Express heads west along the Mississppi River with 2 stops remaining, Red Wing and St. Paul. The crew was cool, too.

The Pepsi Can P42 brings the Borealis west on the River Sub on a nice sunny afternoon. Now that we're nearing autumn, the light is optimal for the time this train passes through here.

Winterdampf "Markersbach", eine Veranstaltung von / Organized by Plandampfteam LoRie
Da die PRESS, Eisenbahn-Bau- und Betriebsgesellschaft GmbH im letzten Herbst die 86er von der Wutachtalbahn erwarb und somit eine Lok dieser Baureihe zurück nach Sachsen holte, war es dem Plandampfteam LoRie ohne große Überführungskosten möglich eine Fahrt in Sachsen zu organisieren. Welche Strecke wäre wohl prädestinierter als die sächsische Aussichtsbahn zwischen Schwarzenberg und Annaberg-Buchholz mit dem Markersbacher Viadukt. Leider war der Schnee geschuldet den warmen Temperaturen der letzten Woche weggetaut, aber wenigstens hat das Licht einigermaßen mitgespielt und es sind einige schöne Aufnahmen entstanden, die ich nun wie gewohnt mit einigen Abständen zeigen werde.

Reflection nebula NGC 1333 is currently the most active region of star formation in the Perseus molecular cloud. It is a wonderful example of a reflection nebula embedded with an open star cluster. This object holds hundreds of “young” (less than a million years old) stars, most of which are hidden from our view by the dense dust clouds.
This is an LRGB image taken through a Sky-Watcher Esprit 120 APO. The camera system is an Atik 460ex and the filters are made by Astrodon. Exposure (min) L:R:G:B 398:90:90:90 RGB bin 2x2
