Anstatt einer 182, schickte Hectorrail am 8. August mit 151 133 nach langem mal wieder eine 151 nach München. Ganz zur Freude der sieben Fotografen fuhr die Lok dann auch noch bei Sonnenschein um 14:08 Uhr durch Harrbach, weiter nach München-Milbertshofen.

Panorama von der Bergstation Corvatsch in Richtung Norden.

Ich könnte jetzt viele Berge und die Seen benennen. Das lasse ich sein, weil viele Flickerer dieses Gebiet gut kennen.

Erwähnen möchte ich aber speziell den Tscheppa-See (Bildmitte halblinks) und die Seen am "Wasserweg" auf Furtschellas (unten links).

Bit of a faff with the modded Helios 44-2.

Roman Bridge - Roman Lakes.

I decided on a location closer to home this morning and settled on the Roman Lakes in Marple.

Its an area steeped in history with the remains of Samuel Oldknow's mill which is well worth a look.

There are some underground access tunnels for the mill I'm looking forward to exploring with a torch too.

A beautiful way to start the day.
