Eher selten sieht man die großen Brummer der Baureihe 151 in der Region Magdeburg, die letzten DB Maschinen kommen so gut wie nie in diese Gegend und die paar Privaten 151er welche noch fahren sind auch eher Randerscheinungen. Umso mehr freut es mich, dass die EGP 151 131-0 mal mit einem beladenen Containerzug durch Königsborn kam.
The last 151's are a rare species, so EGP's 151 131-0 next to the old signals of Königsborn was a special surprise

...davon ließen sich die zwei Fotografen nicht entmutigen und verbrachten ganze fünf Tage in der Nähe der Hohen Tatra bei größtenteils katastrophalem Wetter. Doch ab und zu schaffte es die Sonne dann doch sich durch die Wolkendecke zu kämpfen, wie hier in Markušovce, als 131 030/029 mit ihrem Eas-Ganzzug als NEx 49706 aus Čierna nad Tisou ihrem Ziel Ostrava entgegenfahren.

Dem Verlauf der Waag folgend durchquert die Bahnstrecke von Vrútky nach Žilina die Berge der Kleinen Fatra. Den engsten Teil des Tales hat der von einer 131 geführte Güterzug gerade hinter sich gelassen als er den Ort Strečno durchfährt.
Following the course of the Váh river, the line from Vrútky to Žilina crosses through the mountains of the Lesser Fatra. The freight train headed by a class 131 has just left the narrowest part of the valley as it passes the village of Strečno.

Fomatone 131 mit der Bezeichnung SEMI GLOSSY (statt Glossy wie bisher) ist für die Lithprinttechnik wenig geeignet. Der Litheffekt, nämlich die Trennung der tiefen Schatten von den benachbarten Tonwerten, ist weniger ausgeprägt und die Farbigkeit ist erheblich geringer als mit den Chargen zuvor.
Die Empfindlichkeit ist höher, deshalb sind kürzere Belichtungszeiten erforderlich. Die geringere Lichtmenge resultiert in einer geringeren Farbigkeit.
Fomatone 131 with the designation SEMI GLOSSY (instead of Glossy as before) is less suitable for the lithprint technique. The lith effect, namely the separation of the deep shadows from the adjacent tonal values, is less pronounced and the colourfulness is considerably lower than with the batches before.
The sensitivity is higher, so shorter exposure times are required. The lower amount of light results in lower colours.

Baujahr: 1933,
Die Einheitslokomotiven der Baureihe 01 konnten mit ihrer Achslast von 20 t zunächst noch nicht auf allen Strecken eingesetzt werden. Daher entstand zwischen 1930 und 1938 die konstruktiv an die 01 angelehnte Baureihe 03 mit einer Achslast von 18 t.
Ihr aktiver Dienst endete 1972 im Bw Ulm. Am 24. Mai 1972 erfolgte die Überführung nach München, wo ihr Tender aus Anlass der olympischen Spiele neben den olympischen Ringen kurz auch die Aufschrift „1972 - Gruß vom Bw München Hbf" erhielt. Im Jahre 1975 erfolgte der Verkauf der Lok an das Deutsche Dampflokomotiv Museum.
