INDIEN- Etwa 11 Kilometer von Jaipur entfernt liegt das Fort Amber. Es war Königspalast der Kachchwaha-Dynastie, bevor Jaipur zur Residenzstadt wurde. Als besonders sehenswert gilt der Spiegelsaal. Sein Inneres ist mit einer Vielzahl von kleinen Spiegeln dekoriert. Die Fassade des Palastes ist aus weißem Marmor und rotem Sandstein gestaltet.

My first move from number taking to photography was too black and white using a Hanimex Compact non SLR “point and shoot” camera with a 40mm lens of dubious quality around the edges of the frame. Stabled in front of the shed at Birkenhead Mollington Street some time in 1974 is 08069.
Locomotive History
08069 was built at Derby Works in 1954 as 13084, becoming D3084 in the 1957 renumbering scheme. For the first eleven or so years it was allocated to my home shed Nottingham MPD until transferred to Crewe South in March 1966 moving to Crewe Diesel when Crewe South closed in November 1967. Shortly after in January 1968 it transferred to Llandudno Junction moving to Chester in February 1972 when Llandudno lost its allocation. In November 1973 it transferred to Holyhead before transfer to Birkenhead in August 1974 where it remained until April 1977 when it transferred back to Chester. In July 1982 it transferred to Carlisle Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn a few months later in February 1983. It would end its days at Doncaster Works being broken up in March 1984.

Les rocades de matériel induites par la livraison des Flexity Basel et l'attribution des lignes à d'autres dépôts conduisent à des engagements de matériel aussi remarquables qu'éphémères à l'instar des "Sandwich" motrice + remorque + motrice de la ligne 3 sur les lignes 1/14 ou 6!
Bien que vouées à un prochain déclassement, les Be 4/4 466...476 ont ainsi l'occasion de se dégourdir les pattes à pleine vitesse.
Le convoi Be 4/4 501 + B4S 1470 + Be 4/4 473 fonce en direction de Pratteln et passe à la verticale de l'Adlertunnel des CFF qui relie Muttenz à Liestal.
L'observateur attentif remarquera que l'indicateur avant de la 473 est resté sur le "3"!

Spring finally arrived, and already gone away! When I caught the opportunity, many of those lovely flowers were already falling off. At least, the other growth has just started.

Using the basis of Julius' Metallo and Grundy designs, I created a Titan Joker. He is a simple build with only 26 pieces. He isn't perfect either and still requires some pieces in other colours, namely purple as well as the green mohawk which suits the hairstyle better. That can wait for now though.

Chester station pilot on the 29th July 1981 was 08069 and is stabled in one of the bay platforms.

Der Alpen-See-Express D 13084 Rosenheim – Hamburg mit Kurswagen aus Rijeka und Koper am 05.08.1986 auf der Nord-Süd-Strecke zwischen Göttingen und Northeim (Han) kurz vor Bovenden. Gut zu erkennen sind die unterschiedlichen Fensteranordnungen bei den vier Liegewagen. Es handelt sich dabei um die Bauart Bctm256. Den Reisenden standen hier sieben Normal- und drei Vorzugsabteile (V-Abteile) zur Verfügung, die in der Mitte der Wagen lagen. Die Vorzugsabteile ließen sich mittels eines hölzernen Rollos in zwei Dreier-Abteile verwandeln. Sie waren mit jeweils zwei 80 cm breiten Fenstern ausgestattet. Auf der Gangseite war der Abstand zwischen den 120 cm breiten Fenstern entsprechend größer. Der „Alpen-See-Express“ Clubwagen der Bauart WRtm134 läuft in der Mitte des Zuges und ist bereits beige/rot lackiert.
