In Košice, der zweitgrößten Stadt in der Slowakei, sorgt ein Stahlwerk für umfangreichen Güterverkehr. Dieser wird Richtung Westen hauptsächlich über die elektrifizierte Strecke Richtung Zilina abgewickelt, doch auch auf der KBS 160, der Dieselstrecke nach Zvolen, verkehren einzelne Güterzüge.

Am Nachmittag des 30.06.2020 traf ich bei Slavec auf 751 129, die mit einem Güterzug aus Košice westwärts unterwegs war.
