Today's story and sketch by me # 1258 The TV, is about one of the Strangest Items to appear through What is known as Banana Palm Stargate number, eleven. This Stargate opens periodically about once every two to three weeks, for only a few minutes. It normally opens when the ground begins to shudder, then a small circle next to the Palm begins to shimmer, and a foggy silvery mist about eight feet across opens to expose a black worm hole. And just as quickly as it appears it disappears with a shudder. One time last month Deputy Duwain you see in his Patrol Cruiser, was monitoring the Stargate to see if any Spacecraft that had been lost in another dimension or Galaxy would exit through Stargate Eleven. But to Deputy Duwain's surprise, as the Stargate Began to shudder and Shimmer, through the Black Emptiness out stept a seven foot tall grey alien carrying the vintage Philco twenty four inch television. Even the stranger thing was the TV was on and playing an episode of the I Love Lucy Show. The tall grey stranger with very large black almond shaped eyes wearing a white lab coat set the TV next to the Banana Palm, then stept back into the Stargate and disappeared. To the amazement of the entire MCPPOTG, Man Cave Posse Protectors Of The Galaxy staff, the TV has not stopped playing I Love Lucy Show's, it has no power source, and is stationery, as in immovable. It is currently the only entertainment available on this Tropical Volcanic Planet we call Budahunga. Until next time Ta Ta the Rod Blog.
