Finally, 11555 leads another line up heading back to the park to return with more passengers.
Note the subtle differences of livery application between the brand new 182 Gemini and the older example from DublinBus - the different offside TFI logos for example, and the painting over of the Wrightbus logo on the older Gemini. The difference between both interiors is also visible here - Go-Ahead went for a grey/black interior scheme in comparison to DublinBus' blue/yellow scheme.
However, supposedly Go-Ahead have ran into problems with their new stock with complaints being made about the grey-coloured poles being less-easy to use for sight-impaired passengers than the bright yellow ones on DublinBus vehicles. This may have to be changed before services commence, which may be a costly mistake.

Palermo
Piazza Magione (Magione Square), Palermo
Magione Square (Piazza Magione) is a significant historical square located in the Kalsa district of Palermo. The square's name derives from the Basilica La Magione situated on its South-East side, anchoring it historically and architecturally. The surrounding neighborhood emerged from the Renaissance subdivisions of the Magione garden, which traces its roots back to the Kalsa citadel during the Fatimid dynasty. Remarkably, the area was only partially affected by the bombing during World War II.
Before the demolition of the neighborhood, the family of Giovanni Falcone, a notable figure in the fight against the Mafia, lived here. Today, a commemorative plaque in the square honors Falcone, especially on May 23rd each year, marking the anniversary of the 1992 Capaci massacre. This date is significant as Falcone was born and spent his childhood in this neighborhood.
In the mid-20th century, urban development plans proposed a transformative road, Via del Porto, through the heart of the city from Cala to beyond the Botanical Garden, involving significant demolitions. However, much of the pre-war layout around Magione Square remained untouched until the mid-1950s. By 1968, demolition efforts had largely stalled, particularly around the Convent of Sapienza, central to the then-named Piazza della Sapienza. Cobblestone remnants of Via del Porto lasted until the late 1990s. These were removed in 2000 during a UN Conference, leading to the rediscovery and preservation of Renaissance and 19th-century street elements, now integrated into a redesigned square with meadows.
Thus, Magione Square stands today as a testament to the layered historical narratives of Palermo, reflecting changes in urban planning, preservation of heritage, and the enduring memory of a key figure in Italy’s legal and social history.

Since being in another national lockdown for the second time, a lot of my spare time has been spent going through an extensive collection of archives... Might as well as still have numerous photos just waiting to be uploaded.
Prior to the first lockdown back in late-March 2020, there was an opportunity to visit Manchester as Stagecoach had already invested in 32 BYD/ADL Enviro400EV City double deck electric buses (14001-14032) for Sharston, as well as 18 standard ADL Enviro400MMCs (11254-11271) for Hyde Road.
Manchester has always been a massive city of investment for Stagecoach and that certainly continued through 2020 even during the pandemic when Stagecoach deferred most of its new bus orders, though this didn't affect the 52 new ADL Enviro400MMCs (11504-11555) that were delivered new to Stockport for use on their flagship 192 between Manchester to Stockport with extensions to Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport College and Hazel Grove P&R.
Prior to the new Enviro400MMCs arriving, the 192 had mostly been in the hands of 2013-built ADL Enviro400Hs of which 40 (12180-12219) were delivered new, although that number did steadily increase as 12110-12115 were added from Ashton in 2014 followed by 12087-12090 arriving from Stagecoach Yorkshire's Holbrook base in Sheffield by 2015, bringing the number of hybrids at Stockport to 50. That number did decrease to 49 following 12214 catching fire at the start of 2017 and was ultimately written-off.
Even prior to the new Enviro400MMCs delivered, the 192 still saw an abundance of standard Enviro400s appearing, especially the more unique MAN-engined examples (19621-19640) which still make appearances to this day.
With the new Enviro400MMCs now in service, Stockport no longer has any Enviro400Hs to play with, the vast majority staying in Manchester with 12087-12090/12110-12115/12180-12187/12193-12195 going to Hyde Road, 12188-12192/12200-12205/12215-12219 going to Sharston, 12196-12199 going to Ashton, and finally 12206-12213 headed further north to Stagecoach Cumbria North Lancashire's Morecambe base.
Alexander Dennis Enviro400H 12180 (MX62 GAO) leaves Portland Street, Manchester on 192 to Stepping Hill Hospital via Longsight, Heaton Chapel and Stockport.
