Commonly known as moth orchids, is a genus of about seventy species of orchids in the family orchid. Orchids in this genus are monopodial epiphytes or lithophytes with long, coarse roots, short, leafy stems and long-lasting, flat flowers arranged in a flowering stem that often branches near the end. Orchids in this genus are native to India, China, Southeast Asia, New Guinea and Australia with the majority in Indonesia and the Philippines. A few to many, small to large, long-lasting, flat, often fragrant flowers are arranged on erect to hanging racemes or panicles. The sepals and petals are free from and spread widely apart from each other. The lateral sepals are usually larger than the dorsal sepal and the petals much wider than the sepals. The labellum is joined stiffly to the column and has three lobes. The side lobes are erect and more or less parallel to each other and the middle lobe sometimes has a pair of appendages or antennae. 11342
To see a combination of Re 6/6 and Re 4/4 on an international transit train in 2021 is almost a spectacle. The two locomotives were the standard traction par excellence in the days of the old Gotthard line, but with the opening of the two base tunnels on the Gotthard and Lötschberg, the Re 10/10 combination is no longer often seen. Newly built Traxx and Vectron locomotives have taken over almost all of the services and now dominate freight traffic on the two transit axes.
The photographers were all delighted on the evening of 23.04.2021 when the combination 11617 (Re 620 017) and 11342 (Re 420 342) appeared in the curve near Einigen.

DE: Im Jahr 2021 eine Kombination aus Re 6/6 und Re 4/4 an einem internationalen Transitzug zu sehen, grenzt schon fast an ein Wunder. Die beiden Loks waren zu Zeiten der Gotthardbergstrecke die Standardtraktion schlechthin, doch mit der Eröffnung der beiden Basistunnels am Gotthard und am Lötschberg ist die Re 10/10 genannge Kombination nicht mehr oft zu sehen. Neubauloks des Typs Traxx und Vectron haben die Leistungen beinahe gesamtheitlich übernommen und dominieren heute den Güterverkehr auf den beiden Transitachsen.
Umso grösser war die Freude der Fotografen am Abend des 23.04.2021 als in der Kurve bei Einigen die Kombination 11617 (Re 620 017) und 11342 (Re 420 342) auftauchte.
In de vroege ochtend richting Erstfeld. Deze treinen gaan nu bijna allemaal door de nieuwe Gotthard basistunnel en een dergelijke Re 20/20, is hier inmiddels dus niet meer te zien.
Op de achtergrond de 3.073 hoge Bristen.
INDONESIEN, Bali - im Seetempel Pura Ulun Danu
Pura Ulun Danu Bratan oder Pura Bratan ist ein bedeutender Wassertempel auf Bali, der Shiva als Schöpfer geweiht ist. Im Inneren des Tempels gibt es aber auch Buddha-Statuen. Die Tempelanlage liegt in den Bergen auf 1200 m am Bratansee. Der See ist ein Vulkansee nahe Bedugul, dessen Wasser als heilig gilt. Der Tempel wurde im Jahr 1663 erbaut und wird für Opferzeremonien für die balinesische Wasser-, Seen- und Flussgöttin Dewi Danu benutzt, die eine Manifestation der Gattin Parvati von Shiva ist. Der Bratansee ist eine wichtige Quelle für die Bewässerung im zentralen Bali.
In the centre of Silenen SBB loco's 420342 (11342) front and 620061 rear were photographed heading south towards Italy with an intermodal freight train on the sunny afternoon of the 24/8/16. For info, 11163 was banking this train on the rear.

Hier doe je het nou voor... Getrokken door Re20/20 (combinatie loks 11342, 11676, 420 347 en 11683) passeert een hele fraaie intermodale trein uit België het dorpje Silenen op 11 juni 2014. Leuk detail: de trein werd ook nog eens opgedrukt door de 11163....
Die zwei Lokomotiven Re4/4 II 11342 + Re6/6 11681 im Einsatz für SBB Cargo International mit einem UKV-Zug von LKW Walter aus Novara nach Worms (Kiesen, 12.03.2017).

Toen het dubbelspoor weer open was werd het opvallend erg rustig. Na een klein uurtje wachten kwam er nog een cargo voorbij. We zien hier de 620 074 en 11342 voorbij komen met een LKW Walter trein.
