Stagecoach Busways Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC 11297 (SN69 ZRC) carries Busways retro livery of City Busways in celebration of 30 years of service by Stagecoach in the North East of England.
It is seen here at Wallsend on cross city service 40 to Chapel house.
Despite Island Line being privatised in 1996, 483006 was still carrying its original Network South East livery in 1998. With a faded-looking yellow front end, 483006 was running alongside what had once been Ryde gas works, as it was approaching Park Road bridge whilst travelling between Ryde Esplanade and Ryde St Johns Road with the 17.04 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin service on July 31st 1998.
Formed from a pair of cars (10297 & 11297) that had entered service with London Transport in July 1940, 483006 was in service on the last day of tube train operation on the Isle of Wight on January 3rd 2021. It has been saved for preservation, but has been kept at Ryde Depot.
SN69 ZRC is an AD E40D/AD Enviro400 MMC new to Busways Travel Services in Janaury 2020 as their number 11297. It is seen here on loan to to fellow Stagecoach company, Highland Country Buses and is working Inverness city service 1 to Balloch. It was the last if the batch delivered in the previous Stagecoach corporate livery with 11298 being allover white in preparation for the new Stagecoach livery.
