On its first weekend after being released for revenue service, newly rebuilt 'heritage' GP40MC 1129 leads a six car CapeFLYER with sister rebuilt 1138 on the rear. 1129 began life in 1975 CN GP40-2W number 9565 and was rebuilt the first time in 1997 by AMF in Montreal. This scheme is designed to mimic the 'cranberry' image that was applied to some of the FP10s and at least one F40PH in the mid 1980s.
