~~~This super Easter Rabbit is almost done delivering the last chocolate eggs. He has the special ability to run so fast and jump so far, that you can barely see him.
At this point the basket is fully loaded and this Super Rabbit can leave again.
In the background you can see the very last eggs glowing, almost ready to be harvested and delivered.~~~
Wishing you all a happy Easter, if you're celebrating it and if not have a lovely weekend ;-))
"“This little origami fairy is meditating on her secret golden sphere to regain new energy in the form of magical golden dust particles.
After a while she will look radiant again and be able to resume her work. She visits people and then leaves a small golden dust particle in their hearts to bring happiness and joy. Who knows, she might also visit you! ;-))""
Enjoy your day today!
"Planting a Japanese maple tree in your garden traditionally symbolizes the welcoming of autumn as a friend. The Japanese phrase "momiki-gari" translates to "maple viewing" or "maple hunting," which refers to the ritual visitation to the mountains each fall to view the brilliance of wild maple trees. In Asian art, star-shaped leaves of the Japanese maple trees are often paired with deer, as both are common symbols of the arrival of autumn."
In case you like autumn a lot and you do have a garden and no maple yet, you might consider to plant one. There are many species to choose from.
This folded 'Maple Leaf' looks also different than the previous ones I showed you and also a more complex one to fold.
Happy Crazy Tuesday everyone.
An old origami model, called 'Braided Paper', which I refolded recently, actually the very first one after the big move ;-)) When I folded it years ago it was a difficult model, but now it is easy. Funny how these things work.
I used a square of rice paper 29,7cm, that is rather thin, because it has lots of layers in the middle.
Final size: a square of 10,5cm
As I do love backlighting, in the first comment box you can see that version ;-)
""Good morning, so nice to see you.
I have just awakened from my beauty sleep, as I must prepare for the visit that is coming with Halloween, and age does matter these days.
It used to be different, back then I looked very different and was full of youthful exuberance to enjoy life and also to master the magic spells. I still have a photo of myself somewhere, but where was it again…….
Oh, I hear the doorbell ringing, I have to answer it…,"" muttered witch Garzia and she disappeared...
