Il locomotore diesel D.443.1025 (costruzione FIAT, anno 1970), fresco di revisione, dopo aver fatto rifornimento di carburante, parte dal Deposito Locomotive di Bari per attestarsi in testa ad un Diretto alla volta di Lecce, il 03.07.1986.

La Kamchatka,situata nell'estremo oriente russo,è una penisola formata da una vallata centrale e da ampi massicci composti da oltre 160 vulcani (29 ancora attivi)e lunga 1250 km.
Il gruppo è stato creato nel marzo del 2004 a Palana nella regione del Koriak,conosciuta per la bellezza del suo paesaggio che si riflette anche nelle danze di questo popolo,grazie alla volontà ed all'impegno della direttrice Svetlana Beliaeva e sotto la direzione artistica del coreografo Sergey Kutynkavav.
L'obiettivo principale è quello di conservare,sviluppare e diffondere la cultura del proprio Paese attraverso la formazione musicale dei giovani componenti del gruppo.
Questi artisti vivono a nove ore di aereo da Mosca e a dieci ore di slitta da Petropavlovsk.
