A glorious sunny day, most of which I have spent tidying up the garden. I did take a quick walk to the Post Office and spotted a couple of flowers for my 100 Flowers Project
Lily Magnolia (Magnolia liliiflora)

A couple of days ago Lance ( www.flickr.com/photos/lankee2009/ ) in New Zealand posted and image of a Magnolia. That reminded me I had seen one in bud recently. I went back to have a look today.
Shot with the birding lens as it is set well back in a garden.
Back after school pick up to catch up.
Passion Flower (Passiflora)
For my 100 Flowers Project - 2021
I was surprised to see this bloom today. I haven't seen it in this spot before. The first time I have photographed a Passion Flower although I must have seen them when I was a kid, around ten years old as my Dad had a Passion Fruit Vine for a year or two.
Behind the National Gallery of Canada (and part of the collection) is this tall - 30 meter - piece of art called 100 Foot Line. I like the hard edges against the soft, whispy clouds.

100 Flowers 2020
Only one of my echinacea plants has come up this year. We were away for a few days and came back to find a couple of flowers had bloomed with a few more on the way.

A lighter coloured Hebe than most I see around the neighbourhood. Thankfully this one still had the nursery tag/name on it
Up loaded for SOS theme 100 Smiles. This is our cat Mushy (Short for Mushroom) wishing you all a Happy Christmas. Why call him Mushroom? Because he's a fungi to be with.- boom boom. Oh dear the rubbish Christmas Cracker jokes have started early.

Wisteria (Wisteria spp)
For my 100 Flowers Project - 2023
I would normally post a Wisteria image (or six) around September - October. However all the Wisterias in the neighbourhood, including this one - which is ours, have flowered for a second showing!
SS = Swallow Sidecar, predecessor to Jaguar. This SS-100 is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen.
