For the record I want to let you know, that it was not dark in reality. Overall darkness was all me playing with the light in post. But then again, we all love to play with light in photography, right!? Just saying...!!! :-)

Partir de la gare d'Erstfeld à 475 mètres d'altitude, cette Re 10/10 donne toute sa puissance pour hisser ce train de gravier jusqu'au tunnel de faîte de la fameuse ligne du Gothard dont le point culminant est à 1 151 mètres d'altitude.

Quinze mois plus tard, le tunnel de base ouvrira à la circulation et détournera quasiment tout le trafic marchandise et voyageur à plus de 2000 mètres sous la montagne.
