The first tests of shooting from the hip, I'm not too happy with this shot, maybe I should have used the highest ISO and the most closed aperture, what do you think?
Last night's sunset was spectacular. I took this from my home in the John Hancock building in Chicago
No.1 son, Adam. I've been keen to try my NEEWER RF550 LED ring flash for a while and today proved to be the ideal opportunity taking some passport format photos for Adam and his family. I had sunlight coming directly in on them and that caused him to frown a little but despite that the LEDs supply a really nice soft white, light. And it's cheap too. About £ 40.00 It comes with a stack of threaded adapter rings of various diameters so you can screw it to the front of almost any sized lens and with some coloured filters. Just needs 4 AA batteries. Can't wait to use it on some insects when they start emerging.

I managed to nab a super duper cheap A-1 last week which included an FD-mount 50mm 1.8 which i loaded up with redscale (flipped kodak400) the moment i got it home.
I'm already 12 exposures or so in, I'm looking forward to finishing it so i can get it developed. Who knew film cameras would teach me patience :)

I respectfully announce that I started my second 366 project for 2016 on New Year's Day.
Last challenge was completed in 2012.

"I will never, ever do it again," I thought when I had finished last time. However, something has changed in my mind. I decided to challenge it again this year after considering everything for a while.
The rule is very simple.
- Shoot something everyday
- Upload one shot for the project when it's ready

232 293-1 zieht am 22.05.22 ihren Leerreisezug nach Zwickau durch den Bahnhof von Elsnigk. Viel ist nicht von der einstigen vor ESTW Atmosphäre geblieben, die Formsignale und Stellwerke sind seit 2019 Geschichte. Was bleibt sind die Erinnerungen und ein paar Bilder.
232 293-1 rushes through the little station of Elsnigk, before 2019 this place was a kind of heaven for semaphore and switch tower fanatics. But nowadays all that's left a the memorys and some fine pictures from a time not so long ago
